if you feel like testing the flash lite capabilities please feel free to go to this link

http://richardleggett.co.uk/f[....]pabilities/capabilities1_1.swf

flash lite has been painfully slow on SE phones - a bit more performance and i think some people will start producing games

The games are amazingly fast in rendering, WAY faster than any other SE phone i've tried.

No wonder. It has come to my attention this phone (W900) uses a graphich chip from NVIDIA to render graphics and play videos.

As Im informed its actually from ATI, not NVIDIA

Different sources, different information. I got my information from a consultant that worked for SE at Lund until recently.

@ Arne Not that I doubt the info you got from the consultant but, from the rest of your post, do you imply that ATI does NOT make graphics hw accelerators?

Not at all.

Its just happen to be an Nvida in this case I have been told (never seen it my self, so I can't confirm it). That's all.

well doesnt really matter much which is used in the W900, the most interesting part is that a good graphics accelerator is used from either one of the 2 top manufactures

The information I got is rather old by now, possibly even only still on a desciding stage at that time, they could very well have changed strategy by now. Arne Ankas info is just as likely as mine.

Agree Numb.

He also told me the prototypes he used just before he left SE had 1 GB internal flash memory instead of 512 MB (he was a bit supprised to see that was changed this late), which apperently also has changed. Probably has something to do with the cost I guess.

Numb,
Sony have no partnership with ATi.
Arne Anka is right, it is nVidia in this phone.
