Hope it will be at an acceptable price,if s700 didn't get popularity it was because of its high launching price,me for exemple I paid 500$ on the k750 4 months ago and I am ready to switch to w850 if it's at 600$ at Christmas but not 700-750$.
Se should change the marketing price strategy for this phone or they will not sell more than the s700

Only advantage with this phone compared with the S700i is the 0.7 more pixels on the camera!

Where does it say that?

Do you not think that the Walkman Branding will help sales along somewhat?
The W800 seems to be very popular where I am at the moment so when the W850 appears it will be a good upgrade.
My S700 came free with my contract (£40 / month ) so I am expecting the W850 / S800 (my guess ) to be around £100.

@O2
W850 over K759/W800
1-3G
2-Has a bigger screen, same as S700
3-More built in memory, about 300MB
4-Doesn't have a twin ( eliminates discussion on should I get K750 or W800 )
5-Possibly a new UI, like W550/600 but this isn't confirmed yet.
6-Camera possibly CCD, alot better video.
7-.................
Can anyone add something |

WOW
nice pics, this is begininning to look more and more real all the time. I'm really considering this phone, although, I'm dissapointed that the cam isn't a higher MPx res, cos other companies are going to be coming out very soon with 3,4,5 mp res cams....
Oh well, still looks very good....

Thanks goldenface!!
Yea it looks alot thinner hopefully abit thinner than Z800... Such major differences... might aswell add in a 3MP cam... but sadly didnt... cant wait how the auto swivel works... Is there an auto machanism??
My 1st choice will be Sharp 903... the beautiful screen and 3.2MP is very interesting...

@O2. It does look a lot slimmer than the current S700 - especially the base part. It has been redesigned completely as the memory card is now in a different place.
The Autoswivel - I hope it does flip open suddenly - I hope it slides open. That little grey button on the side looks like the release button to me.
I can't wait for the full specs to appear.
I wish someone would lock one of these threads
