r0 = whole rest
r1 = half rest
r2 = quarter rest
r3 = 1/8 rest
r4 = 1/16 rest
r5 = 1/32 rest
all that means is r0 gives the longest pause and r5 gives the shortest pause.
and you can change the tempo by changing the value (or adding one if there is none) after the "BEAT:" tag in the header. the values must be from 25 to 900, 25 being the slowest and 900 the fastest.
