My originally EU_3 phone, converted to EU_2 via DaVinci was easily updated to R1N EU_2 via the Global Support section.
My initial impression is that bluetooth seems a bit slow, to start a connection, camera quality seems improved, and it's showing one extra signal strength bar.

Just have a litle patience, it will be available for all regions and all networks eventually. Just give it a few days.

No, you cannot just flash some random files to your phone.
Flashfiles have to be the right ones for your phone/region/language etc. and they have to be the right one for the flashingtool youre using.
Have a litle patience and use the official SEUS, instead of trying to ruin your phone. Just forget about those files.

Theres no such thing as the uk-site
Theres only one SEUS server, it makes no difference if you go there from the uk-site, the serbia-site or any other site, all are linked to the same place. You cannot flash because SEUS does not yet hold a firmware for the region/operator you are currently using on your phone, and SEUS checks for that on your phone when you try.
patience everyone, check SEUS regularly or check this thread regurlarly for news of when your specific region are ready
Stop spamming this thread

SEUS updated my EU_2 unbranded K750i from the sh*tty R1L002 fw to the new R1N035 fw. And I must say, HUGE improvement i.e. better reception, camera and video quality. So yes, if you're on R1L002, it would be a sin not to update
P.S. I had flashed my phone to R1L002 using Davinci and reflashed to R1N035 using SEUS. |

Agree with PunkSerb.
Could someone give a comparison to the R1A - how does the video compare??

The vid quality is less pixilated on R1N, but it seems to be a little bit on the jerky side compared to R1A.

Okay people, I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I'm new to this upgrading firmware thing, and am worried because I've heard of people's phones never switching back on.... Firstly, is it possible to update an O2 branded phone? I've got the PC Suite, downloaded the SEUS USB driver from SE.com, anything else I need to do before and during the update to prevent any damage.
Cheers
PS If the phone stops working, what do I do? Cheers

What hell no wait R1A it was abput 190kbps 15fps
R1L/R1J is was about 80kbps with about 15fps
R1N is about 105kbps fps unknown
R1N's video quality will never reach the quality of our late production firmware R1A.
But the guy above says it is jerkey meaning that the fps could hav possibley been reduced if so im am no pleased...... |
