The W45 hence are great. The guy there was just spamming it up. Well you may get a bad one now and there, but the present batches dnt have the earpiece problem.

Thanks for answering ...yet i'm hoping C905s made from W45 (and onwards) dont have the keypad stiffness problems as well. (?)

well im now on my 5th c905.

my latest is 09w03, and it had a stiff "up" d-pad from the moment i took it out of the box!

i tried to take it back to the carphone warehouse 10mins later, only to be told it doesnt constitute a fault as the phone still works, so they would'nt do anything!

this is the third phone i've had with this problem, the other had the earpiece problem.

although luckily, the problem of the d'pad doesnt seem to have got any worse in the month i have had it, so probably just going to live with it, as swapping it again might give me an even worse handset.

At what point did this W45 figure become a 'fact'? I'm sure it's just a date someone dreamt up in Esato because a couple of handsets from then on were okay.
I know people who have 09 C905's with all the same problems, ear pieces, keypads etc. It's just another great disaster.

Sick of mine restarting when it feels like it!

Wanna send it back to O2, but takes the P*ss. Won't have a phone for upto 14 days!

Erm.. Im paying £25 a munth, and will be without my phone for half of that. I don't think so!

I'd ask for a refurb but would probably get the rappy models from first batch, which where useles, Ie, w45 and below!

SE repair centre only takes up to 10working days so that could be another option.

Or if you send it for repair use another phone? Surely someone at work, school college, uni, family, friends will have a spare handset you can borrow for a week?

Well, i have a trusty 3310! haha

Well, are we sure its even broke? Aren't all SE phones known for random restarts.

I know at least 3 other friends who have SE, and they all restart, one of them is also the C905 too.

The otehr is my old W910i, and a W890i.

Meh, i was really starting to believe C905s made since W45 were faulty-free ...Ouch, but thank god i didnt fall in the same trap once again.

anyways, guess we better say goodbye to C905 forever and instead wait for W995. , As W995 sounds like the best feature phone to be released so far.

Also: any good tips on must-have aps, like for instance opera mini?

Oh, and maybe we could discuss the problems and faults of 905 over here instead: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=182456

I realise your frustration, belive me, ive been through the same thing with 3 N82´s this autumn and i dread the day my 905 packs up.
But it doesnt feel very interesting for me to know that his and hers phone gave up.
Cheers!
