@All, the reason why most of our leaders want to stay put in office is the same reason why they fall ill once they r in detention, they r used to or they live a very very lavish life style in office. |

After their weekly Fed Exec Coucil Meetings, the Minister of Info will come and reel-off the many things they hope to do... most never get done.
But one that I am sure is being tackled is the Power Generation Projects.
Unfortunately, no one has figured out a way to protect the gases as they zip to the plants. The reason for the present 3-month old power crisis was 2 pipelines supplying gas to 2 major Power Stattion were blown-up by the Niger-Delta boys.
So when the 9 new Power Sattions currently being constructed ("on a fast-track basis") come on stream, what stops the Niger-Delta Boys from blowing them up???

Na wa o, I too seem to have been afflicted by the same gprs bug as Angel. since my last post 2 days ago, gprs signal has disappeared, but reappeared when I went to Ikeja this mornin. I've fallen back on my glo.
@Abu: the 4th licensee is Prestel who have been in operation for about 4yrs in Edo state with the 45xxxx numbering pattern. there are rumours of a possibe merger b/w them & intercellular.
ARV drugs aren't free, but are highly subsidized by govt.
welcome to PNF Benchod.

@Amby; Thank God am not alone on this Vmb Gprs problem, maybe by the time we all starts calling cc twice everyday, they will do something about.
At the moment i dont know of any close relation with Aids, but i believe Aids is real, and any one can catch it if he or she is not careful. We should try to always enlighten people around us, and also show love and care to the victims. My first Aids test was done without my knowledge, i was tested before i got my employment letter in 2003, had another test last year beforea blood transfusion, planning to go for another before this year runs out (all results so far, negative).
@Coola; U never can tell what one can do when he or she is really in love, the power of love overshadows physical disabilities. If i rejected you, just because you had Aids that means i didnt love you in the first place. |

@Amby... if an HIV/AIDS wants to wait totally for subsidized ARV's he will before his time. we send patients to these HIV/AIDS referral centres and they are sometimes giving the popular rhyme: come today come tomorrow.
@Abu... i don't mind giving you more than 100% if it will help mankind.
@ALL... what do you think about the NIGER/DELTA issue? is it crises?

Enjoy this joke!
A woman wanted to reach her husband on his mobile
phone but discovered that she was out of credit; she
instructed her son - to use his phone to pass across
an urgent message to his Daddy who was at the site.
After Junior had called, he got back to Mummy to
inform her that it was a lady that picked up daddy's
phone the three times he tried reaching dad on the
mobile. She waited impatiently for her husband to
return from the site, immediately she sighted him, she
gave him a very hot slap, while the man was trying to
ask why, she repeated the slap, people 4rm the
neighbourhood rushed around to know the cause of this.
The man asked Junior to tell everybody what the lady
said to him when he called; Junior said "the number u
r trying to call is not reachable at the moment Please
Try Again Later"

@coola: the best way to ensure the safety of our power plants is to ensure development in the delta, with direct benifits tied to the power generated in form of infrastucture. if a set % of the money generated goes there instead of sitting in govt coffers 1st (then swiss bank accounts after) power would be steady.
@amby: its still a baby company!!!! please translate your presidential language!!! when you say "highly subsidized" does that mean 60%+ or 6%+?
@pxth: remember, when we share the podium after we collect our Nobel Prizes in 3 or 4 categories, i'll be retiring to my yacht at the end of the day while you willbe flying back home on a economy class seat! (or the vice presidential jet, which ever comes 1st!!!) nice joke btw
