is der any software to update da phone(SEUS) on mac ? and which software do u use to sync music to ur x10 ?
There is a mac software for sync music and photos from sony ericsson (software downloads)
As far as SEUS is concerned, there is no software for mac (kinda sucks) I've been waiting for more than 3 years now.
Hope this helps

UPDATE:
First thing I've noticed: Some pictures in mediascape which before, would be clear and fill up the screen (now "auto fit") are now a little blurry and are only crisp when I select "original size". Anybody else notice this?
It's strange...

@caff111
it seems to only effect some pictures. I'm going to try to re-download those pictures and see if it makes a difference.
EDIT: Redownloading does make a difference

I got my X10 on Monday and love it. It was on R1FA014 and there were no updates available whenever I checked on the phone, however I just got out my Windows laptop (normally use a Mac) and there is an update on SEUS available! I'm downloading it now, let's see what it gives me!

Haha thanks Moogoo. I think I skipped out an update so what I find new may have actually been on a previous firmware. But I must say I like Creatouch, the new app, and I like the ability to change the Timescape theme colour. Haven't found much else yet.
I must say, the things that really irritate me are the Moxier apps and the inability to delete them despite the fact I never ever will use them, and also that there are three (including Moxier) separate Email apps on the phone. I would much prefer to just have the Google one (seems the most efficient) and have Timescape connect to that or something.

@oli
timescape does attach to your google email. it doesn't attach to moxier. i wish we could get rid of moxier too though.

Enjoy your new toy. You'll be glued to it from now on. At least you won't have to put up with the rubbish battery life like us early adopters did.

Thanks Goldenface! Yeah I have to be careful to split my time between my girlfriend and my phone evenly! Haha, joking of course.
Surprisingly my battery life wasn't too bad on the first firmware for the few days before I updated. By that I mean it lasted a full day under very heavy 'first day with my new phone' useage.

You got the update and you had the unbranded generic X10a firmware? Did you have the AR or BR firmware? I have the Brazil one and still haven't gotten the R2 update!

Congratulations Oli
Talking about battery, people who use 3G or EDGE all the time then the battery is a problem but with new firmware you going to love battery life. Timescape is awsome too. I use timescape for twitter a lot. Facebook is good too but I prefer the Android Facebook app. Check out the gameloft games, they are really nice. E-mail is pretty good too. Also try to get Swype keyboard. Your texting will breeze.
Let us know if you have any questions. Enjoy your new phone

Thanks Indiandawg.
Yeah I've been looking for some good games, so I'll check out some Gameloft ones. they always seem to make good phone games, but I just haven't come across their Android ones yet, apart from Asphalt.
