@deji: why don’t you just get the track you want on cd formatted to mp3 on a pc then Bluetooth/infrared it to your phone? That’s the best solution. Cheapest too, especially if your not downloading free.
@coola: I wanted to complain you didn’t comment much lately. No vex with the Mtel issue. I told you even if I give you the settings, as long as you don’t have someone at the Mtel switch to hook you up it wont work. There is no proxy setting or passwords. Just the apn addy. And though I’m a bit biased since I used to work there, Starcomms has plans for Abuja though I don’t know how soon. To me, they would be giving the best deal. On-net calls at N2/min a minute in Kano and Maiduguri, N5 in Lagos (I think), international landline calls to US, UK and Canada at N15/min, GSM @N25/min. What ever you choose look at the tariffs very well. Most prudent consumers end up using their FWs more than their GSMs for calls. You end up using the GSM for texts and mobile surfing. And its only Starcomms, Intercellular and MTS (I think) have applied for Unified Licences. So roaming with FW will only be possible with them.
@pxth: As long as we are not in a position to cure it, the best thing we can do about AIDS is awareness. I’m not talking about sitting around and watching NGO rally about, ministers of health travelling up and down to seminars on HIV or passing around leaflets. If we as individuals put the shame behind us and talk to our loved ones, our siblings, our friends about it and encourage them to talk about it in earnest the word will get around. We should just thank God that we Nigerians are not as promiscuous or have drug addiction as rampant as westerners or southern Africans.

Hurray! Nigerians. I'm still celebrating the rejection of third term bill by the senate. You know what? In 1976 Obj told us that we are the leaders of tomorrow but 30 years after, he is still the president of nigeria. He used our parents quota, used our quota, and now he wants to use our children's quota. Thank God for the senate's refusal.

And I take it Nigeria is a model for high morals? No my friend, you find promiscuous people all over the world...even in Saudi Arabia, we never get told about it but we all know it happens. In SA everything is exposed whether it be our Aids problem, the disparity between rich and poor and discrimination

@brix: AHA!!!! I knew my post would bring you out!!!!!! What I said (and what I meant) was that the number of under age children having sex and the number of adults having multiple partners in southern Africa is higher than what we have in Nigeria, thus the spread of HIV being more rampant. Same goes for druggies using needles. I have never seen anyone shooting any drugs up their veins here. Mostly smoking stuff or taking pills. I’M NOT SAYING NIGERIA IS FULL OF CHASTE SAINTS WHILE SOUTHERN AFRICA IS FULL OF HEROINE SHOOTING SEXUAL PERVERTS!!!!!!!! Even a 1% difference makes a big difference in the spread of AIDS. Don’t take the world to be black or white. If you look at the world in that light you’ll be missing a lot. And using your point of Saudi, of course you’ll find promiscuous people their (like you’ll find them everywhere) but in what numbers? What population of Saudi (or Nigeria) is estimated to have HIV? HIV has reduced the life expectancy in southern African countries to 40yrs!!! But if you doubt the statistics in needle drug usage and promiscuity, then please offer another reason why the outbreak is much more sever there than other 3rd world countries. (I love this type of discussion!!!!)
@VPpxth: I beg leave egunj. He had his valid points and he is very optimistic. We can’t all be pessimists!!! We need some one to offer a little hope!!!
@lawi: Welcome!!!! But don’t celebrate too soon!!! Things are still in the pipeline that can keep OBJ in power till 2009 and beyond!!! And they seem to be working on it full throttle!
@areaf: same thing here!!! Last test was before my wedding and God willing I don’t need another. I gave my son blood right after he was born and I guess they screened it too making it three months back since my last test. But for all you PNFers that are jumping around, be you man or woman, single or married, go check yourself!!!!!

@brix... Don't be offended. Abu, i believe was only pointing out a fact. Another fact is that if we don't do anything meaningful our case will be worse than that of South Africa.
@law... The rejection of the third term bill was a miracle. But it is not over until it is over. I hope you know what i mean

@all: im practicing with a theme creator so any of y'all with older SE models (T610, T630, T230, T68i etc) send me the pixs you'll like in your own themes (photos of you and your loved ones, scenery in your area etc) and i'll make a theme for you FOC. Indicate the photo you'll want for the standby screen, the desktop etc!! I'm still looking for a theme editor that can do k700, S700, K750 etc)

@All Whats the latest on the HIV/AIDS topic? I am happy wedding requirements are making some of you comply. Question: What would have done if U tested positive?

@Abu: Funny cartoon.
I had a HIV test about a year ago, when I donated blood at the hospital. I haven't been sexually promiscuous, so I don't think I need bother about my status. Incidentally, I wasn't a bit fazed when I took the test, I wasn't expecting anything less. I've always been a careful person. But if it had been positive, I'd have continued living my life the way I am now, and hope for a cure before I die.
