first check the battery, then incoming and outgoing calls, reception. when u are in the main screen, use the arrows ( left-right ) and the * key for the following : right * left left * left *.
so u come to the service menu. go to the test and check there the features one by one ( the last one is the flip counter, it shows, how many times has been the flip opened and closed ). at the sticker in the back of the fone ( under the battery ) check where was the fone made. try to write down all infos, then post it here for a detailed response. if its possible, make a pic of the fone!

Ok, the service menu
But I'm not very sure if the phone will still have enough battery for doing the services tests, I'll buy it anyway, but It will be in Monday, then the first thing I'll do will be post the info here
Btw, why do you want to know all that info?? Just a simple question (I know you are not asking me the IMEI), are you doing some kind of reserach of /// phones??

u asked for response, dont u? so, the first step is to check these details, before u buy it. had more then enough experiences with all those beuties, so there are important steps. btw compare the imei written on the sticker and in the fone, if they are identical ( imei check *#06# ) almost forgot: in the service menu, at the test, check the real time clock aswell! if its not working, forget the fone, it means, the radio apart ( what allowse u to make calls and responsible for the reception ) went wrong, hard to replace it.

Thank you Boba, I'll do that And, that was the first thing I checked, IMEI is the same. I want to clarify that this phone is sold by an authorized center of my operator not in a normal store, thats why I'm being very confident with it, just yesterday I bought a new SE T68i in there, ohh I love this phone, It works perfect till now !!
Cheers

well, then next time go for a t68m, the original version of the i. if u dont mind, i dont wish to discuss t68i her ( pls read the first post in the forum, why ) anyway, is it boxed? will u get charger with it?

Yes, I don't want to start talking about another brand different of ///, just put that as a reference
It was boxed with the original charger and handsfree, but the box wasn't "branded", it just was all white with stickers from the operartor and the IMEI numer, it camed with the manual and a Quick start guide. But what I noticed is that the manual says T68 without the i, and it wasn't in Spanish as the Quick Guide, it was in English (its not my native language); and the manual also has pics of a /// T68 not the SE version
Do you think it's strange??

Sorry me too, that two were the only ones who remained. Aparently nobody bought them in the main authorized stores in the capital city and sent them to the "smaller" centers in the rest of the country and selling them off. I think this is one of the last new /// phones here in Peru
But there are many other popular /// phones, the T39m is very aprecciated between SE and /// lovers, the next most pouplar was the T28, but now everyone wants a phone with colour screen, and nobody cares too much about the brand (they don't know what they are missing ) I owned a T39m for a couple of months, but i didn't know the whole capabilities by then and I sold it (big mistake and I regeret it) But now I'm looking for one , some friends of mine have one or two And the last /// is a little old is the T18di (not GSM), but this is very rare today.
These three are the only popular models which were sold in my country, other ///s are almost impossible to find, but I'm part of a peruvian forum where we managed to get (legally) some other phones like a T68 and accesories like the Charboard and the BT accesorie (i don't remember the name now).
And btw, I have a pic of the T18di if you want: (i think its not very common in Europe)
EDIT: Thanks for the links
