The call time is displayed in the right hand corner (where the date is) after your call ends for around 4 seconds. |

Hi,
I'm very satisfied with my P990i, but i do have 2 more questions.
I hope somebody can answer them
1. Is it possible to view the album pics in the media player on the P990, just like you can in iTunes? if so, how do I do this?
2. I can't connect to the wireless network in school. It's an unsecured network and with my laptop, I have no problems. One of my friends has a Qtek and thus WM5, and he can connect without any difficulty. Why is this?
Anybody any ideas?
Thx in advance!

Has anyone else noticed that the sound of the p990 ringing is very well rubbush it sounds like it have been shoved in cupboad or the treble has been turned down and the bass up, or have i just missed a vital setting somewhere i know u can change the equalizer in the media player but that dont solve the problem for ringtones

Ringtones on my device sound ok, the treble is normal and quite audible, the bass is present but weak, but that's to be expected given the size of the speaker. Also depends on the quality of the ringtone.

Since it is announced I've read every information regarding P990.Now that it's on the market I read about all kind of bugs but also about good sides. Finaly I made a decision that I'll buy it.For the last year and a half I use my astonishing P910i.With it I have almost everything I need:my music, movies, pictures, books, internet, e-mail ,msn messanger, ms office, dictionary, home video inspection (argus rs), call and sms management, voice recording, task and calendar, etc. Now P990 offers all that plus a really good camera, wlan, landscape browsing, usb storage, querty, better screen, FM radio etc. I want to ask a qustion to curren P990 users. Does it handle larger (more than 1mb) ms word or excel files as P910 doesn't? It is quite important to me.Thanks in advance

So I assume I can not do this using Disc2Phone? Do I simply use the explorer?
Thx for the feedback! |

Sory if somebody already ask this but what do you think will it be possible to develope software for the P990 that simulate answering machine? In P900 and P910 (UIQ2) it was not possible. |

Why do they always said that the p990i is not good??? I love the phone and it gives me what i need. After the firmware upgrade all the reviewers out there may edit their review of the p990i!!!!! |

@ Jah -- I agree. It seems that many reviewers don't take the time to learn about how to really use the phone. I mean, that review just had blatantly incorrect comments. That is why I typically trust user reviews more. But in the end, no review matters other than my own. If I had trusted everyone's comments on the P990, I would have been crazy to buy it with all the bug reports. But I am so glad I have this phone. It is brilliant and I have had no major issues with it so far. It has been a great 2 months and it should only get better next month with the new firmware! |
