@easyd: no vex! It must’ve been during on of my gprs blackouts!! All the best!!!!
@mikk: the problem this govt has is it doesn't focus on a single problem. I know corruption has made every problem like the Hydra snake, but if we keep whacking at one it will eventually go away. See how Cuba got its literacy rate to near 100%. For a few years all tertiary schools were closed and all tertiary lecturers and undergrads taught in primary schools. A few years of schooling lost (we’ve lost more due to strikes) but see the benefit. If we focus on the railways, or on healthcare or our refineries we’d be in a better place. But with this scatter scatter govt that has gone in so many directions and at the end of the day doesn’t have any credible achievement it can claim to have brought forward from any of its policies after 7 yrs. (pls no one make mention about GSM, debt alleviation or fight against corruption unless you’re ready to debate it out for a few days). Lets hope the windfall money isn’t spent solely on election chwachwa and the next govt gets to put it to good use.
@deji: you said it!!! This oil fluke is now going to be one of the administrations “achievements”.
@all: since no one seems to be up to the task of solving my yahoo/hotmail problem.(tsk tsk, shame on PNF gurus!!!) I’ll check it up on one of the other esato forums.

@ALL... Please stop Egunje cos he is going in the wrong direction. No offence intended. We don't need any space programme.

Very easy, as long as you are willing to part with as much as N2000 per browsing session. GPRS browsing via pc can be very expensive, we did it here when MTN was free, and those of us that have vmobile are still using it for pc connection.
@Abu: I'm still very much around, u should know that PNF is my campaign HQ. I'm not too good with computers and internet security issues, I bet Aya will be in a better position to help u. Visit him at www.domainstandard.net
@Easy: Abeg no vex o, I guess it was an oversight. But sorry, no free browsing for u, so u better accept the apologies.
@Angel: That problem definitely is a network issue. You may want to report this to Vmobile CC.
You know, I have always wondered to myself the essence of building up foreign reserves when u are deep in debt. Its like keeping millions in ur savings account and receiving 6%p.a then borrowing at 19%. I didn't go to havard, but that just does not make good business sense. |

@Abu... You are the only one we know who is using M--Tel gprs to browse that is why no one can help U. Chop alone, you die alone...
On J2ME, here is how I would go about it: GOOGLE IT!
You may download a web copier software like HTTPTrack and download the site U find for later viewing.
@All.... This is probably my first post with a "quote". Progress eh?
@AYA, good for U to be remember us o. My love to Madam and the kids.
FINALLY, 2 FWA networks have recently arrived Abuja and I don't know which one to choose: Reltel Wireless or MTS. Advice please.

@Coola: I would prefer reltel over mts first because of their internet provision, you are billed from the airtime you load on ur fone, so its almost like dialup. |

Ladies and gentlemen i don't know if this issue has been discussed before but i think it completely imperative that we do so now. WHAT CAN WE DO ABOUT HIV/AIDS? It appears our government is unfazed. Believe you me this scourge is worse than niger delta crises. An unimaginable number of nigerians are already infected. We are a dying generation. I see no hope when i look at my fellow country men. Do we need space programme? I AM SACRED

A lot is being done about HIV nowadays with all the media publicity & campaigns. I remember when i was in camp, people had the opportunity to test & some were positive. Pregnant mothers are tested nowadays, thereby giving many guys opportunity to know their status without going into any test centre. A lot is being done & it has uncovered the fact that a sizable proportion of Nigerians are infected.

Let's start from here, how many of you know his/her status???? And remember U have to do the test twice in 6 months to be sure.
I did mine in November 2005 and February 2006. The period when U do ur test and when U get the result will be one of the most unforgettable in ur life. I will find the url to my blog entry when I did mine. I was scared to death!
So, who else knows their status??? Because U cannot tell others to know their status when U don't know yours! |

@coola, ur test is invalid cos you were suppose to wait for a minimum of 6 months & not 3 months b4 the second test. HIV has a window period of 6 months & would still not have been detected until May which is 6 months after your 1st test in November. So my brother, i advise you go back and do the test now (your certainty of being negative also depends on if you've not had sex since November)
