I´ve ordered the p990i before i looked around in this forum and got a little bit worried.
Is the ram really so bad? Beside of calling i will just use it to listen to music and browse with wlan. Do you think i will suffer from the low amount of ram anyway?
I had a p900 and dont remeber it crashed that often thou i had a program that killed the applications i didnt use at the time to free ram.
Is swiss manager the same thing?
Please just say some good things about the phone, i really liked my p900 
Maybe future update will sort things out? |

i dont think i wud use music + wlan in p990i but i tried it for u and it works absolutly fine with me but to be honest guys i have never used like 3-4 apps running together.. even in p910i...so..for me its not a big issue .. but more RAM wud be good enuff...

all phones here in dubai are sim free, warrantied ones range from 2500aed to 2999aed; while unwarrantied ones can go really cheap from 2100aed to 2300aed.

I have this problem with my P990. Yesterday morning the battery was fully charged. And by about 4pm the battery went completely dead. Didn't do anything with the phone and there weren't a lot of calls. Could it be the battery? |

Are you SURE there was nothing on, wifi, bluetooth? Nevermind, can't drain the phone that fast, can it? Mine last for atleast 2 to 3 days

is it possible to use opera mini with the wi-fi connection on the P990i or just gprs/3g connection? i get an error message saying that i am unable to connect even though my connection works perfectly using the original opera browser. it's just i wanted to surf the net in flip closed mode. is there some sort of setting for it to work with the wi-fi connection? TIA
Also, is there an IM app where i can use yahoo messenger for free? i've downloaded agile messenger and it worked flawlessly before i upgraded my phone to the latest software. i can connect to agile messenger/yahoo but then after a while i get kern exec error 3. hope you guys can help me.

one way is to put all the desired bookmarks in a note and sync across to P990i
open the note and click on each of the url, an option to add to bookmark will be available. |

Same thing happened to me once in past 5 weeks . My battery lasts normal however one time the same happened to me and I don't know why.
It may sound like a battery problem but I'm still not sure why ?

Same thing was happening to me, then I realized that I always had WLAN enabled. WLAN would be up and running when I'm at home but I would use my computer instead. So now I keep WLAN disabled until I need it and now my battery will last through the day with no problem.
Has anyone had a problem recieving SMS?
I am not receiving messages as usual. I can send a message, and a person will reply but I will not always get the reply. Take today for instance, I was bored in class and just turned the phone off and had no messages in my inbox. When I turned it back on, I had quite a few SMS in my inbox, some from today, some from 2 days ago. I thought it was a network problem but no one else using T-Mobile US seemed to have the problem. Any suggestions? I have the latest software but am going to reinstall it anyway. |

That is operator fault not the phone..
had the same problem with different phones.. but when i changed provider no problem.. |

actually I think this is a phone problem, cause the same thing has happened to me a couple of times, and a restart should fi the problem. I never had this issue on any other phone, so I think it may be a bug. Even though my P990 has been pretty stable, this was the most annoying bug to me, it has only happened twice in a month. |

no its not phone.. have even seen it on a nokia 8850 when i sent a message to myself.. have had none of those since i got my p990.. |
