Remember the patent about the different level of haptic feedback when using the stylus? I hope that makes a debut in the phablet. (I'll find the link later).

55 is not waterproof. it's splash proof, as far as I know. In other words 55 is useless really.
Any Qs on the design tho? More like Tablet Z?

So that's like sneeze proof?
But seriously I guess having any IP is better than none. |

Yes. Water resistant. Like the Xperia Z, Xperia V and Acro S. So no it's not useless
Splash proof = IPX4

[OT]HTC One delays due to company’s past defeats, CEO and president Peter Chou says he’ll step down if the One flops
If HTC one flops which I think it will cause of delays I am very sure Qualcomm wont prefer HTC anymore and SONY will be preferred with S800 also future Soc and Sony will have more stronger relation with Qualcomm now than before
SONY will be “tier-one customer”

I'm glad the phablet will be water resistant. This needs to be Sony's big mobile catch: great hardware and design in a water and dust resistant body. |

I wish they could add in some level of official drop resistance as they have it on their super slim rugged cameras.
Ahhh, 2h can't come fast enough. I wonder what else the phablet will have. IR blaster? Still going to have to decide between it and the next flagship. Maybe if the flagship has a xenon flash to go with its better camera I will consider that.
Also, any word on wireless charging? |

What is the main difference between the Sony Dogo (Spring/Summer 2013), Honami (Summer 2013) and also the Phablet phone which is meant to be June 2013? (What details do we know currently ?) ?

Rumored specs of the phablet are 6.1 - 6.44" display with a resolution of 2560x1600, s800 processor, 3-4gb ram, Sony stylus (hopefully the one with haptic feedback), waterproof, 6mm thick, 8mp camera, 3500mah battery.
Unless the 2H flagship has some far nicer features, I will likely get the phablet |

I doubt the haptic feedback will be ready for the phablet. That patent was only discovered last year, it could take a while to implement. Sony would be better to go with Wacom digitizer at this point. |

The phablet is looking more and more attractive. 6 mm is ridiculously thin.

How much bigger in "real" terms is that phablet compared with the Sony Xperia Z - for example, in mm or inches, width and height?
