A4A 6.1 is out - The final move before the final version

Hello everyone and have a whole nice week

I dont know whether this release is up to ur expectation or not but I have tried my best as I can for it. Here is the link: http://www.mediafire.com/?7xyoseudfyt

Name: A4A
Version: 6.1
Updated: 20/08/2007

Supermode with functions as shown below:

EV: -2.0: Change GREEN
-1.7: Change MAGENTA
-1.3: Change blue
-1.0: Change yellow
-0.7: change zoom
-0.3: change iso
0.0: focus: 1.0 auto 1.1 infinitive 1.2-4.0
+0.3: change exposure: EM/ENM is ready. read exposure information below.
+0.7: light metering/spot: 1.0 - no spot 1.1 spot on
+1.0: change shutter speed (1/5000' - 1/6' with daylight, 1/5 to 2' or more at night/low light)
+1.3: change shutter speed which can be combined with iso (1.0 -4.0 from 1/20' to 2' - Thanks to Jonaugust )
+1.7: Change saturation
+2.0: change scence:
1.0 normal,1.1 Portrait,1.2 Landscape,1.3 Nightportrait,1.4 Nightscene,
1.5 sports,1.6 Beach/snow, 1.7 Document,1.8 Manual Exposure Scence.

EM On/off: Normal mode for EM OFF AND fine mode for EM on

Changes:
-Hope you are pleased with its real colour
-Autofocus/infinity is improved to get sharper pictures.
-Macro+ENM+Flash is available now.
-Locked autofocus: is removed. However, you can see zoom in and check focus more correct: at EV 0.0, increase zoom to 1.1, press half shutter and release to see zoom in, decrease zoom to 1.0 for autofocus. Now you can see zoom with autofocus so that you can make sure the autofus is fine
-Compression at 90%: lower saving speed but better quality. Please don't move the camera until it shows saving or you will get blur pictures. if your camera restarts at this level please report to me. To me the quality is more important than the speed. I have considered the balance between speed and quality
-EM on/off in Fine/Normal quality with improved quality:
-------EM on: lower exposure for quicker shot (combine with saving speed). However, as I said, it is always good to wait until the camera finish saving the pictures
-------EM off: for quicker shot comparing with EM on, different compression with Raiderski's compression method.
- Viewfinder and final picture when EM on is more similar

Uses:
- Always use macro on
- Macro on + Led + Night mode is now available in both normal/fine quality
- If you want to use MXE-60, please take picture in fine quality first, after the second trial if not successful then go to normal quality (I dont have a change to test this so I use Raiderski's method )
- When you get overexposure in EM on, please change exposure to 1.7 and testing it. WHen you get the correct exposure the picture will be lovely, therefore i think overexposure is not a problem
- Sorry about the changes in Supermode. I hope these function will be more useful. If u want any functions please PM me.
- When change between normal/fine quality, please wait for a while so than the camera can refresh

Hope you enjoy it.

Any comment, any problem you found please tell me and that will be great for other A4A's users

I have tested this driver on my K750I CID49 @W800I R1BD001 CID49 Firmware.

Best wishes.

Hi everyone. First of all, I wanna thank Raider, Sarmad, Krio, and all the modders from whom I learned all I know about modding. They make possible I can mod.....thank you all guys.

9.27 has the same functions that 9.22, but instead of different speed when choosing Normal or Fine, you get Sarmad 5.7 CC in Fine Mode.( NOTE THAT I LEFT THE SLOTS WITH THE SAME VALUE BECAUSE IS THE OPTIMAL VALUE FOR ME, BUT YOU FEEL FREE TO CHANGE IT IF YOU WANNA MAKE IT WORK AS 9.22)
What I tried to do when developing 9.27 was improving the image quality in all light conditions, paying special atention to sharpness and focus.
In a few words, 9.27 is simple to use, very fast, and capable of give awesome shots.

- Base driver: 9.0 Improved

- Enhanced Mode - Macro ON (Normal/Night = EM/ENM, LED Support)

- Super Manual Focus (Macro ON: 1.0 Autofocus, 1.1 Focus to Infinity, Manual Focus Range 1.2-4.0 with Zoom preview)

- 3 VR Modes (NormalMode=15fps, NightMode=10fps, EnhanceNightMode=5fps)

- Advanced Zoom (x4: for Photos & Night/EnhancedNight Mode VR, x16: Smooth Linear for Normal/Enhanced Mode VR)

- AE Lock

- CC Support (Picture Quality: Normal = Default Colors, FINE = Color Correction)

- BEST JPEG COMPRESSION WITHOUT LOOSING QUALITY (for Normal & Fine Picture Quality)

-Disable digital filtering in day shots for a sharper picture

-Perfect MXE-60 sync.
.........

What do you mean by perfect MXE-60??? Your compression is just 75%. Check it out

I have tested many drivers to get the pictures of the sea but have not been successful so far since I always get noise This week I will try again and I will post my pictures .I think I found the reason but I will test it first.) Could you please do me a favor. Can you post a direct link for the picture we both like? I would like to put it onto my desktop. Thank you.

@lpachuong: good work. A4A-6.0 is amazing. I really like it. I can see the improvement in both colour and sharpness. However, its saving time is longer than 5.6 althought its shutterspeed is faster. Is it bcz of your new compression?

@ A4A's users
Friends, I really sorry about version A4A-6.0. I reduced shutter speed in A4A-6.0 and it got less overexposure. That is good. However, it is not good for pictures indoor. The pictures on the screen of the phone may look fine, no exposure but when you watch it on the computer, the pictures may be not sharp. Therefore I don't want you to use A4A-6.0. I really sorry about that.

A4A-6.1
FIXED: You can see the overexposure on the screen of the phone more obvious (too bright).
-> Overexposure indoor now can be solved by manual exposure (about 1.6) or normal quality.

Nice work, lpachuong . A4A-6.1 is fine now, I think. However, why don't you post some pictures when you add new drivers? Nvm, I have some pictures from A4A-6.1

All in fine quality

Pictures indoor: exposure 1.6 - autofocus (only 1 light source from the window but it was raining outdoor).

-You can see the intensity of the light source from the window.

- autosetting:

Pictures outdoor: all auto-fine quality - it is cloudy, no sunlight and some shower - try my best to keep my phone dry

-Nice real colour (althought it is cloudy)

-Good autofocus:

-Perfect:

- I wanted to have overexposure on the dark sky so that there will be no noise:

-Lock-AE: I wanted to play with this function. It is good when we have low exposure since we can get extra-exposure from a brigheter place. I like it.
Autofocus make it clear and detailed at the middle of the picture.

Will play more with it. Good work. Looking forward to your final version. I dont want to try anymore, just want to put the best driver into my phone forever.

Raiderski, Sarmad, Darkmagician,... where are you? Do you have st new for us?
