@ihe. Actually, I had expected dat they would bill MMS per kb also, so dat what u pay is commensurate with d size of MMS sent. Dat would have made my day.

One of my favourite use of MMS was sending emails to ppl and especially discussion groups. But at 60bucks that is 30 mins at a cybercafe! Or just login to yahoo.com and type away. I an still waiting for ideal MMS tariffs from u guys...

@coolapostle. Plus, are u sure dat when u send 2 multiple recipients, u r not billed N60 multiplied by number of recipients...? I never fancied MMS from day 1, so I'm not missing it.

@coolapostle.My experience here is different. Once I am out of credit, GPRS becomes unattached and I can't even browse. Happened twice now.

@brym! POP mail allows u 2 access ur mail using mail clients (like Outlook on ur PC, & d ones built into phones like p800,t68i,t230,m55,9210i etc). Glo doesnt offer POP mail. Ur webhost or mail service may or may not.But if on glo's contract plan,u can use ur phonez mail client to access ur POP mail.

U can also access ur POP mail via CSD on MTN, V, & hopefully Mtel.

@Aya ,No big deal then. I will ask them to convert me to prepaid. I dont see why I should be paying monthly access charge when I mostly use the line for browsing. I went for it because I was wrongly informed that wap service is open to contract plan only! I started browsing from the day the service was launched. Spent 354 hrs on line before my phone was stolen.

@brym! Customer care ppl can be so ignorant. GPRS WAP is available on both prepaid & contract. GPRS Internet is available only on contract. Say, is a swap possible between us? I'd love a contract plan (POP & Internet are vital to me) but hate the hassles of setup.

Line is in my organisation's name(corporate),may have to change it to individual b4 talkiing of swap. One of my colleague's has never used her contract line and will be willng to sell (though again has to be converted to personal). I will visit glo tomorrow to make inquiries.

Is there anyone else who is still able to browse on glo with zero airtime? Check: if u dont have credit, & gprs is not active on ur line, chances are its not a technical problem.
