Is SEUS going to serve R2AL? |

If it is currently being issued to their repair centres then it will eventually emerge on SEUS at some point. It seems they release all their new versions to their repair centres first so that if there are any missed bugs in the upgrade pack then it is only the repair centres performing the upgrade and they can just roll back the firmware/fix the phone. When it has been with them for a month or so, it 'should' then end up on SEUS. |

I plan to have my fw updated to R2AL029 when it becomes available at the nearby SESS. Will I lose all the words that I have saved in the T9 dictionary when the update is performed? Thanks.... |

Assuming they don't have to master reset your phone then all your data (including phone book) 'should' be ok. They will warn you that you could loose your data as if there is a problem they may have to re-flash the whole phone. If they don't have any probs then you should be ok. Best back it up to be on the safe side |

@chili
I am not sure whether it is always the case, but every time I have updated firmware on any of my SE phones my T9 custom dictionary entries are lost. If any one else has differing experiences then i'm sure Chili would like to know! I have updated both through EMMA, in a SE Service Centre (when such things existed in the UK!) and DaVinci before with the same results. |

@392MHz
The shutter sound is not firmware revision dependent but region dependent. |
