@shyam - I don't know - I thought 16 bit too
@boba - The same - higher speed of phone - while saving pics, rotating them - maybe faster Java apps... It should be set to 40 MHz approx. theoreticaly...

I really have no clue, what are those processors about... but it should be like you said. P900 has 66 MHz processor I think - P910 will be probably the same

hi,
i think most nokia phones used ARM based processors from Texas Instruments. I interned at Texas Instruments in india, and some ppl told me they were working on codecs for nokias.
and i think se phones are actually manufactured by flextronics, which is based in singapore.
but, maybe the se website has some info on this.

Faster processor means faster the tasks are done,lesser slow downs provided processor has good bandwidth with functional memory.i dont know if 610 and 630 has same processor?

imho they are a tad.. just a bit slow.
but, really not as slow as some people make it out to be.
like in processor heavy operations like saving an XL sized photos and theme changes..
but its okay. the rest of the features makes this anomaly pale in comparison. ) i for one am extremely happy with my handset.

Not slow except for the time taken for changing themes
