This is a picture I took on Friday using night mode and the light:
Didn't get much better turning night mode off:
Using the Nokia 6600 my mate took a picture and it looked a lot better than mine. All I got off everyone was "your camera is *&$%". My K700i showed me up! Still, got a daylight picture and they soon changed their tune but the night pics are disapointing to say the least! |

Here's a pic taken at my Aunt's necrological mass held last August 1st/Sunday/local time. She died last July 27th due to an ailing cancer disease, she survived almost a 2.5 year ordeal May her soul now rest in peace

Can we see more pictures taken in the night please. I would like to see evidence that the K700i can do decent night pictures (i.e. in bars and clubs) compared with the very ugly Nokia 6600 which surprised me with it's night mode camera! |

K700 doesnt do descent night pictures imho - though I dont know if its worse than 6600 ? propably is if you find the nightshots from the 6600 ok. K700 camera needs good lighting.
But you wont see any nightclub/bar pictures from me because I dont go around taking pictures in nightclubs and bars - I fail to see the point of doing so. When I go to nightclubs or bars its to relax and have a nice time in good company of friends - not to take foolish pictures of people who had to much to drink. Its my experience that most people dont like their picture being taken under these circumstances - thus I find it quite unethical to do so. And I find it especially unethical that people publish pictures of strangers butts, or nightclubbehaviors etc. on a number of websites dedicated to these types of shots.

TBH i've never been impressed with any digital cameras night quality. I dont take many pictures at night because if i go out, i take one of my old camera-less phones in case it gets lost, stolen or..

you know when you take a picture with the k700 does it make the same sound as the t610, t630, z600 etc?? |

No, its a different sound. IMO kind of like someone dropping a bag of gravel onto a concrete floor.
Its like a crunch, and its much less noticable.

so don't try to take a picture of a girl in a beach you will regret it unless you put it silent! |
