Thank you.
Steps 1 to 5 are spot on and I've followed those instructions exactly
...but, once I've done that, nothing else happens. there's no option to eject or anything. it just does nothing. if i click on the FinderCleaner icon again, i just get a spinning cursor.
Have tried it so many times! I must be doing something wrong |

I can't get Finder Cleaner to work for me either - I get the spinning cursor. So I use "DS_Store Cleaner" instead.
Just drag the folder/disk you want to have cleaned onto the apps icon. DS_Store Cleaner will launch and automatically clean the folder and any sub folders. When it is finished, you will see an alert box which tells you how many .DS_Store files have been deleted.

Just drag it to the Trash. As long as you don't access the device through the Finder after cleaning (i.e. open windows, copy files etc.) the nasty .ds_store files won't be added again!

I just got FinderCleaner to work perfectly!!!
it would seem to be to do with the password thing. when you use FC for the first time, it asks for a password, then after that it is added to your keychain
it works the first time, deleting all the crap then giving the option to eject ...but then not again after that.
so i deleted it from the keychain. The next time i used it, it asked for the password again ...and it worked again!!!
is this a concidence? am I mental? I dunno - but at least i got it working!

Another answer for you: NO. You need a PC. I debranded my v800 ---> z800 and had to use my PC to do this. I used: Davinci Team and it worked perfectly. I now have an unbranded z800 that is as though it was a retail version. The cool thing about my phone is that it can still use the SEUS (SonyEricsson User Service), and my phone has the ultra-black casing.
Let me know if you need more help. Us Mac-heads got to stick together. World domination is a slow business.

Hi, I have an Isue with the Update software "seus" it reconizes my phone but just won't update once the screen appears with "diconnect your mobile, turn it of and wait for 20 sec... ... then reconnect your phone and keep the "c" key pressed" nothing happens.
I do as said and whenn I reconn. nothin happens exept that the phone turns on and asks for the pin.
I've tried uninstalling all SE SW and reInstalling it whith the same result...
anyone got any Ideas? the SE hotline told me to go to a SE support shop and get it updated. Great! drive 40 km one way leave phone there for a day an pick it up the next day WOW, I don't see that happening... |
