Guys,
Starting Jan 7 2005 inclusive na ang unlimited calls and text (250 a month Sun to Sun) in all its plans. So Sun Subscribers will no longer be billed an additional 250 pesos on top of their monthly subscriptions just to avail of the CTU.
Also, Plan 250 will be replaced by Plan 350. P250 will go to unlimited, plus 100 will go to other networks.
This is good news!

Glad to hear that your friend on T-Mobile was able to SMS you last new year's eve... So it's not hopeless after all!
I tried both of my sims on two phones, a K700i and a 7250i. No luck. My contacts abroad are on Telstra and Fareastone. I've told them to stop trying because they've already wasted a lot of load. |

Why don't you try sending them an sms then they should try replying back. Baka kase may kulang sa number. Usually you need to put in the numbers in int'l format. |

No I'm not from Sun, but i have a good friend that works there. She usually trusts me with almost everything about Sun. I asked for her permission because i posted their plans.
Anyway, as of the moment i couldn't access my gprs. Probably because i'm in makati. What's your location by the way? But when I'm at home in (San Juan), i normally have GPRS.
Try refreshing your phone (turning it off, taking off the sim then back. Turn it on again) See if your gprs appears afterwards.

My current location is Pasay, but wherever I go, my GPRS still doesn't work. I've tried doing that so many times already. I aslo have reported this to Sun, it's 1 week now but still they haven't resolved it.

What phone are using mate? have you tried OTA configuration from the SE website?
After configuring your handset, call hotline 200 so they can refresh your gprs. You need to turn off, take out your sim and put it again, then turn on your phone after they have refreshed your phone. They're technical people can do that for you. |

@steele, what if you dont want to upgrade your plan 250 to 350? like here in my place, signal of sun is only in the city proper and if you will avail their ctu, especially calls....you need to dial twice or even more just to contact the other party using sun sim.
do we have a choice not to avail their upgrade to plan 350 for the meantime or it is a must to all plan subscriber to upgrade their plan?
tnx!

@superman
If you're currently under plan 250, your 250 will be for the CTU(call text unlimited), all texts and calls for other network will be billable already.
That is, as soon as their plans push thru.

Bro tell them that you already did wait for more 24 hours. Request for manual activation instead. Meaning, you have to tell them to make a manual request to their technical. Wala pang 24 hours, activated na yan. That's what i did before
By the way...
The January 7 launching of the plan 350 is postponed indefinitely.
FYI.
@t68 mms
Sun GPRS here in makati is perfect. how's yours there in pasay mate?

What phone are you tring to activate your gprs on?
@superman17
Your allocated free text and calls to other networks will still apply. So you will only be billed after consuming all your text and call allocation for other networks.
