to be honest i am shocked at how superior the XZP's display is. S8+ has AMOLED and is technically 4K certified. In these comparison photos, they look washed out, which is not usually the case for samsung displays.. they are usually oversaturated and high contrast.
I wish i knew someone who had an S8/S8+ so i could compare with my own eyes. If these photos show the pure truth, then XZP is a BEASSST....

I have an S8 and S8+. I'd compare them with the XZ P but by the time it's released in Aus..... it could be a while!

>500 haha.. well damn you're baller having both the S8 and S8+. Still, i would want to see it with my own eyes. Not that i wouldn't take your word for it but I like to see things for myself. You can book a flight to the states and we'll compare your S8/S8+ to my XZP

I work for the 'enemy' now Got the S8+ from work, and the S8 I bought for personal use as, well... it was too good a deal to pass up really.
I get what you mean, I'm the same. No matter the reviews, pictures etc you see, I always like to see/test myself.

Vodafone Spain offers Xperia XZ Premium with Sony GTK-XB5.
I don't think the speaker is for me but that's because I want a more portable one.
It is a nice bundle though.

Well I compared S8+ and S8 with my XZ so it's not far from truth to say the quality is compareable. No doubt XZP will challenge them much harder(not in black pics though). |

Looks like the XZ Premium won that too on both image and video quality only loosing out Marginally in low light shots. Ah man reading all these reviews and comparisons is making the days drag that little bit longer until I get mine.
I'm so happy 'cause today I've found my friends ... They're in my head

Looks like XZ Premium is the phone to beat.
Display, camera, system speed, multimedia, connectivity and almost all features are better on Sony's beautiful monster...
What else can i do? Of course i'll buy one and go back to Sony again!
I'm jealous of you guys who will receive it first!

i just received my roxfit black screen protector. i'm unsure if i want to use it just yet cause of the black "bezels" on it. I will probably do a dry fitting and see how it looks when i get my XZP next week. I am SO excited. Seems like XJ will be the first of us to get it.
Luca - welcome to the family!

^or that the screen protector will fit properly? it says it fits either XZ Premium OR XA1... they are different sizes!
also - US preorders for XZP start on june 12 with official release on june 19 at amazon & best buy. unlocked of course, but without the fingerprint scanners ability. should be priced around ~$800! insanity. at that price and without the scanner, it just makes more sense to import from the UK. not to mention the bundled incentive.

For screen protector I would not buy curved glass because I tend to wash my phone (habit of mine) and water will seep inside the glass, making the display ugly. I usually buy stick on glass protector instead. |
