I think that you guys are blowing things out of proportion. Apple unlike many other well established phone manufacturers (:se: comes to mind here) has put out high quality phones with far less flaws and defects than the long established guys.
I am not an Apple fan at all in any way however every year I keep envying the way they are able to keep the iPhone from having the usual problems that many others have whilst making the phones just plain old work as they were advertised.
Does anyone want to take a Satio over the current IP4 and wait for a  update?
I don't like Apple products but come on don't over blow the problems.

Even with all this drama, it will still be the best selling handset of the year...

Put a different OS on Satio and it would have been a marvel! lol Any phone running symbian is poor imho. Even if the hardware is great, the software just lets it down! The x10 on the other hand, has had no major faults to complain about.

I've just come back from my hairdresser where I've never received much of a signal on tmob with my 3gs. So much so that I always take my MiFi (on 3) so I can do some browsing while there.
Today I got great reception on the iPhone 4 and didn't have to use the MiFi at all... I could even watch/stream the Uk Aus cricket match on the Sky App!

I know it will sell great and I keep wondering what and Samsung and others are doing to improve themselves and beat out Apple. Apples products are always overpriced and perpetually locked to them therefore it should be easy to just surpass them by making products that work well and are less expensive and not proprietary locked.

Personally, i think the only phone that would have a chance to outsell the iphone would be a Playstation phone.

Got mine delivered yesterday (ordered the upgrade over the phone with no problems at all), have been very impresssed so far.
I can reproduce the signal problem but have yet to experience it with normal usage.
The screen is crazy good.
I love it so far, and its the best one so far (ive owned all the other generations).

The question then is, is the iP4 getting good signals but exaggerating those signals or are they getting bad signals when held with the left hand.

 Ive had a glimpse of 2x of these phones via customers into our store im not impressed,
I dislike the cornering - Nokia N96 style never liked that phone neither 
has anyone got yhe white one coming to them yet?

I'm really not impressed with he iphone 4 at all its just one big massive FAIL on so many levels its design being one of them just because it has this Retina Display doesn't make it anything special I think the 3GS is still the best iphone to own well at least until they get the next one right?
