yup! Noticed that. It was a bug with the old firmware. Now glad they fixed that.
Right it shows. But it is not 100% now. If a call comes from someone who is not stored in the phone then it shows as green symbol, as if normal phone. Then when you save this number in Contacts as mobile. But it still shows in call log as green symbol in stead of blue mobile.
But not a big problem and can live with it for now. |

New Satio Firmware out (R2AK006)
Heres whats included :-
- Support for WVGA video recording – The already great video recording will be enhanced to fit the wide screen format and hence resolution is also slightly increased to 864 * 480 pixles. (the preset size will still be VGA, user has to change to get WVGA)
- Upload of pictures to Facebook – It will be possible to upload pictures directly from the picture menu you have on the home screen or from the Media UI.
- Youtube video uploading – It will be possible to upload videos to Youtube directly from the Media UI.
- Conversational messaging – “Conversations” will be nicely integrated in the messaging menu in order to easily find and inspire to more conversations with your friends.
- DLNA support – The new software will support DLNA media server for easy transfer of audio and still pictures. (Note that video is not supported)
- UI improvements – On top of above, several minor UI improvements have been done in order to optimize the user experience.
- The Facebook application that is now available on PlayNow for free download will be included in the sw.
What is the source of this information? and is this really all that's new? I mean, going from R1Asomething to R2Asomething is a MAJOR release, like 1.0.0 to 2.0.0, or going from Windows Vista to Windows 7. Shouldn't there be something more in such a big release shift? |

Yes, vivaz works with the new firmware and u dont need to use c2z anymore.
The new firmware also fixed the loudspeaker.
And now, u can also toggle with the volume while on call.

has anyone got a vid of the latest vivaz running on the latest firmware, i think i tried an old one but the twitter login didnt save and the flash wallpaper was really stuttery. Just trying to figure out if ill downgrade firmware to pgrade with vivaz installed, thanks |

over all impression of update so far:
battery life is relatively longer
Phone is more stable but still crashed.
camera focus seem worst
the improvement is more on core bugs than function
They should have included the EQ app in this release rather than have user download it
I hope the next upgrade comes soon after Vivaz release and give us that wall flash wall paper and more themes plus more camera controll function |

Can you post a pic to prove the focus on the new FW is poorer?

Hi, I can't downgrade my satio from the new version to version R1CA037 :S i think its because i cant get access to the files in STEP 3 in the tutorial.... so i cant acces the so called region files or whatever u call it

I'm in the UK (on t-mobile network) and have been trying to update to the new firmware for the last 10 days - but keep getting "You have the latest software" message.
My phone details are
SOFTWARE VERSION
1212-9500_R1CA037
CUSTON VERSION
1225-9489_R1BA028.
Has anyone in UK on T-mobile managed to to update to the latest firmware? if so, how.
