So which Sony mobile is the next (international/global) Sony mobile release (not a phone restricted to being released in certain regions only) ??
Will it be released in Summer 2013?
Any "XR4 Rumor Graded System Reference" rumoured specs/info, or at least XR3 graded rumours on it?

I really like that CyanogendMod is not supporting the Galaxy S4. Take that Samsung, in your face. Maybe it changes Samsung's attitude towards the dev community. |

Thought I like CM not supporting S4, but Sony have some downs also... like that CMW Carbon app for backup and restore is not supported by some Sony phones like Xperia S and Xperia Z coz Sony disabled it !!
I was trying with Xperia S, but there's no way to change the USB connection mode in order make Carbon running... at least in non-rooted situation... looking in the app page in Google Play, they stated clearly that Sony disabled it...

Samsung does not give a damn about this, because more than 95% of their users will never try to install a custom ROM on their devices. Actually more than 90% of the buyers don't even now what a custom ROM is.
Samsung's attitude towards not releasing (working) source code is just one of the reasons I will never buy a mobile device made by Samsung.
But my personal preference means nothing, I expect Samsung's market share to continue to grow, even if there is no CM for Galaxy S4 and no CM for the upcoming Note. |

Thats true but Sony has its own Back up and restore that interferes with carbon.also its hundred times better than carbon so why pay for it? |

As there isn't a 100% strict official definition in the world of mobile phones for the size of the coined term 'Phablet' , will it have a screen size larger or smaller than the Xperia Z? / What size?

Sounds cool - only thing is that personally for me, I'd like a smaller screen but still, similarly with such great specs. 5" or smaller screen size would be perfect. Any Sony mobile coming out in Summer 2013 or in Q3 of 2013 with a screen size of about that size?

I don't think that any Android brand can offer better software than Samsung in near future. I think the Phablet will have the better design and better specs than Note 2 but when it commes to software Sony is far behind. |

Stylus alone would be enough IMHO, it should be wacom >_> but for sure Sony would put its own homebaked goodies there if it happens to use a digitizer pen.

I just hope their skin is as close to stock Android as possible, with only features added elegantly on top. Something along the lines of what Motorola is doing now... |
