i really dont thing the issue is about bias or not being bias, the issue is not to address the hypocrisy and double standards of the world, the issue is Iran with a nuclear weapon is dangerous to the well being of the world..SIMPLE

@uchrik: read about the glo to PHCN customer care in a wednesday Guardian. what makes me suspect is what they really are getting is money from millions of calls from the electric-ly disgruntal masses. nice one. it cant be from the other services they were to offer PHCN.

My remarks are my opinions, which are based on what i consider as fact, coupled with the unfolding events in recent Iran. These opinions are not anchored or interwovened with religious sentiments or mythical evidence as you pointed but on the above assertions. Mamood ahmadinejad(president of Iran) was a member of OSU an organisation formed by Ayatollah mohamad beheshti with mahmood ahmadinejad (then a student) an active member who played a major role in the seizure of the United states embassy in Tehran in Nov 1979, the moment he became the man at the helms of affairs of Iran; The suspicion began, he then choose a confrontational approach to every issue, from the non recognition of the holo

holocaust (he actually called it a myth) to the call for total wipe out of isreal from the face of earth. What sort of man is mahmood? It shows the character of the man in question who always choose confrontation ahead of any meaningful diplomacy, he sets the tone for whatever fears people nurture towards his ambition (nuclear) and he deserve whatever attacks he brings on his fellow Iranian, out of his aggressive talks, he has sacrificed diplomacy and raised serious suspicion.

@ambyz: the iran iraq war was just that. a war. under a totally different govt at that. if that is what you are using to grade the current iranian state, how would you grade israel and its actions before, leading up to and after it took over palestine rendering millions refugees for over 60yrs now? we have had israeli PMs (shamir and begin) who were wanted by the british for acts of terrorism during thier
invasion of palestine.

@deji: skirmishes btwn india and pakistan over a range of issues from kashmir to ethnic has led to endless aggressive spouting on both sides about the others elimination. i guess that makes them unsuitable too? too much of the views and opinions are being influenced by a western media, controlled by who? 100 points for who gets the answer right 1st!

@Abu: Let me get u correctly. Are u therefore saying that Iran should be allowed to develop nuclear warfare capabilities? and that the UN/US are out of line for trying to prevent them from doing so?

@abu, you're still not justifing the importance of nuclear armament for Iran, we all cant address those perceived injustices in the world, injustices are there for justice to prevail. So be objective, preferencial treatment even extents to the homes, but no one can stop that, the issue is are we save with Iranian nuclear armament simple.

@ambyz: can i repeat.... i dont support nuke prolif. but my point is if iran does attain it (in 10yrs, albeit), it wont be the start of WW3. "nuclear suicide bombers" wont be roaming the streets. what would most likely happen (& from the looks of things no one will be able to stop them), it will all play out like orwells' "1984", with yday's enemies being today's allies. do u remember the relationship US had with iran at the time of the Shah?
