To that guy a couple pages back wondering why you can't type the letters to jump to your favorite song. Here's how - pretty simple really.
When you go 'file-manager --> sounds' scroll down so that you are highlighting the first actual song in the list (skip ringtones and videodj) - THEN type the letters - it's not perfect since (for me at least) it takes you to the letter immediately before the one you have selected - in your case you were wanting metallica, it'd take you to any songs starting with N - stupid, but that's about the best it can do for now it would seem.
Maybe a firmware update will fix it... |

The update service worked today, My W800i updated to R1AA008 as its an 'UK Orange' branded phone.
R1BC002 sounds good because
"- Photos are now taken as soon as the shutter sound is heard"
The delay when taking photos gets on my nurves.
*"SEUS II will currently install the following firmware revisions for UK phone brands:
K750
Unbranded UK (CDA102338/38) - R1BC002
O2 UK (CDA102338/16) - R1BC002
Orange UK (CDA102338/12) - R1AA008
Vodafone UK (CDA102338/68) - R1AA008
T-Mobile UK (CDA102361/2?) - R1AA008
W800
Unbranded UK (CDA102338/38) - R1BC002
O2 UK (CDA102338/16) - R1AA008
Orange UK (CDA102338/12) - R1AA008
T-Mobile UK (CDA102425/43?) - R1AA008 "*
Does this mean that eventually the branded versions of the phones will also be able to update to R1BC002 at some time or will the phone have to be unbranded to perform this update, if ever?

id also like to know the answer to the question that SEproblems asked, here it is once again:
Does this mean that eventually the branded versions of the phones will also be able to update to R1BC002 at some time or will the phone have to be unbranded to perform this update, if ever?
anyone know the answer?

Based upon my own experience, yes, branded phones should eventually get also R1B. Mine is Orange branded and I was among the last to upgrade from R1N to R1A - only a week before the release of R1B. So, what can I say... patience... |

I've probably answered this question a hundred times, but yes - you are likely to see R1BC available for most branded phones. Operators test the latest firmware versions with their networks and put them through their own battery of tests. If they pass then they create a customised firmware and tell SE to release it on SEUS. If their tests suggest it is less reliable than the current branded firmware then they don't ever release it. |

Yeah - see for mine that doesn't work. I've tried everything, but I can't get it to skip to songs. Not the biggest problem in the world - but a whole bunch of small problems kinda make the phone crappy... not that the K750 is crappy - far from it. Just little simple things like that can be fixed in firmware updates. I wonder why it doesn't work for me? |

Hi,
Anyone have problems with Bluetooth in the latest firmware?
I have it paired with my car (an Audi). When I select 'Answer' from my car system, the phone says 'transferred to phone'. The option to answer in the handsfree is set on my phone.

I have had BT problems with my K750 with every firmware that has come out, the BT connection to and from my pc is fine however it will only connect to bt headset for about 5 minutes then dissconnect.
If I do get an incomming call within the 5 minutes of connecting then I have the same problem as you, or my phone will just dissconnect from the headset and the only way to reconnect is to pair them again.
To say I am dissapointed with the Bt implementation on this phone is an understatement.

Similar probs for me too Del....
Dug out my HBH-200, which I hadn't used since I moved from P900 to the K750, as the early K750 firmware didn't seem BT stable.
I'd hoped later updates wud fix this - but I've been trying today to check this and no sugar... Phone connects to BT headset and within 3 mins the connection is gone again!
