WRT the 'net though, http://www.zedge.net remains my biggest source of free themes and screensavers, for all my phones, by far.

I'm not too keen on getting new themes as yet. Last night I finally got G working after several calls to Vodacom's helpdesk...watched a demo of streaming video and have to say that I'm not that impressed, experienced the same problems that I get when trying to watch a media stream using a slow connection(buffering and time-outs)...DVB-H should be much better when it evetually arrives.

I'm here occasionally lurking in. Haven't had much time to look for software... I'm finding the keypad a wee bit on the small side...not that I've got fat fingers. I miss the jogdial.

Have you ever been hit by a stroke of bad luck for days almost in a row?
Well l have.First it was my P800.On Sunday last week my P800 died on me out of the blue,I was listening to ogg music and it just went dead.Tried rebooting and removing the battery, put it back and no luck.I wake up the next morning and get to work 20 minutes late.Reason for that,my watch is 20 min late and suddenly it stopped working(dead too!)
During lunch l pay a visit to a SE authorized service center and they tell me my phone needs software upgrade and it will cost me about R280,l tell them l'll bring the phone tomorrow.Get back to work and strip the P800 and clean the dust off,put it back together and it worked!Halleluyah!
Guess what,
Today my computer DIED too. After watching a movie l lauch the TV application and it tells me no TV card capture available.I switched the pc off.Switch it back on.It won't switch on.The pc is dead too.
What a bad week this has been!!

Maybe l should bring one over,it helps sometimes.Come to think of it,before the pc died yesterday l went to another location to check out on a site to construct my house. The deal was sealed at R9000.00 for the site and l'm supposed to pay R4000 on Monday for deposite.I get back home and the pc dies.Money will be needed to fix it and l'm expected to pop-up 4g tomorrow.Maybe something is not right!A sangoma is not a bad idea.

Brix, I got my N70 a few months back on Mtn my call 100. No branding whatso ever ! The keypad is too small . Actually the whole thing is too small :-( i can only recommand the plastic convers but they restrict the keyboard even more. I also bought a R220 - 350Mb package. Now is anyone here aware of s60 users illegally downloading 100's of Mb every day/night from the network ? I should have not mentioned this, but saw there are quite a few s60 users on this forum too. I have phoned the relevant network 3times since I became aware of the 'problem' last november and they said they monitor the culprits and will charge them when the system can register the usage. Apparently the system register but there is a problem with the metering system. I can't undertand why the ingeniers take over half a year to sort that out. And Brix, what do you think about video calling ? I think is more of a jocke, but that's only me. Greetings from Jeffrey's . Mario :-)

I'm having a frustrating time of it, this morning I tried installing IM+ but the stupid phone tells me it can't install the file due some security issue. So I disable some of Voda's security settings but this still doesn't help. What should I do? @mario: Right now I couldn't be bothered with video calling.

@Mario, howzit boet? I've heard of the downloading going on, silliness imo, i mean, there's only so much anybody could possibly want, no point in carrying on like there's no tomorr. Then again, no accounting for what goes on in some people's heads.

@jmash, good luck with the house, mfowethu. It's a mission sometimes...

As some may be aware, my old house is diagonally opposite the one i now own. The new owners are a young couple, early twenties, who apparently have a few full-sized money trees in the backyard lol. They've done so much to the old place i don't recognize it any longer. In the space of two months they've added two more garages, replaced all the built-in cupboards, walled the entire boundary, added more rooms, replaced the carpets with cherrywood flooring this weekend.

Anybody know where i can get a cutting of these fabled trees lol

Regarding the N70 keypad, ironically i didn't experience any problems with it when i was installing some games for a buddy recently. I used it for a few hours, took a few minutes getting used to it, but once the thumbs had grown accustomed to the positioning it went swimmingly
I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

@jmash: One thing I've noticed is that compared to my P910 the N70 is a tad bit on the slow side when going through menus and opening applications. Also Opera is quite different from the UIQ version.
