my only wish for XZ3 is updated camera, on screen FPS and 4K OLED display. Guess I will wait for XZ4P. And I am guess they are still going with the hybrid dual sims, that is bull shit. The whole point of dual sims is being convenient, how is swapping out SD card with a second sim card back and ford even consider convenient. Which idiot thought of this?

I laugh to see how some tech sites try to find any excuse to point something negative.
According to Android Police the virtual buttons/ app drawer make things harder to use than new android 9 gestures.
So clicking on 3 buttons is more complicated than remembering what swipe up, down, left, right, long press and short press are for.

Sony love to do things bit by bit. Not some Chinese brand throw in everything they have.
Dual Sim + sd card needs room. Even now the jack is removed. How come they can suddenly find a rom for real dual sim? |

What about the H94, is it XZ3 ?
Oled-info.com says screen comes from LG.
Hope it is not pentile.

I can only imagine what we'll see in the next Premium. I think 4K OLED is pretty much a given. An evolution of this ambient flow design is something I can get behind. I wonder what sort of improvements we can expect on the camera front... 48MP sensor with built in DRAM? Hoping they go for 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM for the premium.
I think the rumors still say Samsung will have a folding phone next year and we know Sony are working on the tech with LG, but I dunno if Sony will be ready so soon. |

Empty space is in the middle, not the side. You also need to add more PCB and circuit. Not that simple.

The number of people saying that they love the XZ3 but they'll wait for XZ4 or Premium or whatever is huge and that'll translate to low sales unfortunately. People are liking the OLED and want it on the Premium so it means nobody wants the XZ2 Premium now. |

I would buy Premium. It is not going to arrive here.
I always wait 1 year to buy for 50% cheaper.
Should we assume that all flagships will have egde screen? |

That depends, if they are going to launch XZ4P next quarter and 4k oled hdr screen is not available, I can see they stick to LCD again. |

I am in that same boat too... Love the XZ3 but gonna skip it because it doesn't have the dual camera from the XZ2 Premium and still not 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as standard.
Like many I would have also preferred side fingerprint scanner and 3.5mm jack but I can manage with rear sensor and no jack...
Then there is the point that 5G phones are so close. |

Yeah, despite how nice the phone is there are a lot of reasons to not buy it.
I want to wait until folding phones are a thing, but the way things are going I might seriously consider the next Premium |
