Hey guys, just a question. Is the screen calibration software leaked earlier going to come to the Z and ZL in the 4.2 update? Cos rumor now has it that its just a developer software, not for the public. Thanks |

I thought it appeared that ZL had this tool. |

Yup the ZL had it (not sure retail or developer versions though) but the retail Z does not have it. It seems really useful so just thinking whether it might come in the future updates for the Z. |

Yes 4.2.2 update is expected to have it.
Anyways to clear the confusion futher.
C670X is also a 2H phone in case you guys forgot And it's more than capable of taking on S4 and One. Exynos Octa performs at par or worse than HTC One, so extra 100mhz clock and Sony optimization will allow C670X to beat both S4 and One performance wise.
So for those who don't like one sony cuz it"s "thick" can buy C670X |

Yea that's what im talking about Octacore is just marketing gimmick. S4 got no innovation. They copied Xperia Sola floating touch and other HTC features |

Sorry but that's just not happening. There is no "separate" Camera phone and 2H flagship.
And this is XR5 category info.
There is only 1 flagship for 2H 2013 - One Sony = Honami = C680X
3 devices with S800
5" - Honami
4" - Ray 3
6.x" - Phablet
Apart from these three there is C670X with S600.
No other phone
Also I don't understand why some are thinking thick = bad ? A phone being 12mm doesn't it the size of a Note 2. Thin phones are a fad. Nobody's gonna go " OMG!!!!!!! So fat!!" seeing a 12mm thick phone as long as it's not too long and wide.
Satio was 13mm thin
Lumia 920 is 10.7 mm thin
ZL 10mm, Acro S is 12mm, N8 is 13mm thin,

Never understood people's obsession for thin phones, u sound like a girl. Or do u need it to match with whats in ur pants? Ahaha Acro S is good size to me. Thickness for substance is worth it, especially for a bigger sensor or battery. If the Pure View 808 was an Android phone it would of sold a hell of a lot more.
If Sony can put out a camera phone whose only competition is the 808 it would be a big deal in the Android world. |

Sony needs to develop a full frame sensor phone with e mount or a mount lens support |

If you referring to white balance calibration tool, yes retail version of zl has it.

True, the slim phone craze is exceptionally overrated, I mean how many of these people use their phones without jacket or carrying cover case which more or less doubles its thickness, defeating the point of slimness.
@vivftp
An E-mount full frame Xperia would cost way more than the RX1 or even the upcoming Full Frame NEX-9. I'd prefer a galaxy camera-killer device from Xperia instead.
