Mine tends to go down when I press in. Think is more me than the phone. Not used a joystick on a handset in a year.

Dunno if this is the best place to post questions on w800i, get you go to write new message can you set it to text message as default?

And can we simply drag mp3 files from the HDD to the memory stick without going through Disc2Phone -

Thanks all.

@darudy, you can do that, but you wont be able to play them in the walkman media player. disc2phone is soooo much quicker to transfer music anyway....about 5-10mins per CD

Well I only want to transfer to listen to the mp3s on the phone... not using it like a USB flash drive...

However, I've found this on the user guide:

Files Must be saved in specific folders on the Memory Stick Duo

...

Music must be saved in \MSSEMC\Media Files\audio, or copied using Disc2Phone

Sorry but thats not right
You dont need disc2phone to put files on the memorycard that wil play in mediaplayer, but you do have to place the files in the correct folders, and disc2phone is in no way faster than normal filetransfer.

Thanks for clearing that up numb..

One other question: When you go to write new message can you set it to text message as default? And I can't find the option "Reply and Delete" when you receive a text message (used to be there on my T630)

I read somwhere that the K750 display is better than the one on the W800.
Could anyone confirm this?

In that case, whats the difference?

#Deejayz

Its not possible to change the looks of the mediaplayer as this is a non skinnable application within the firmware.

i saw the w800 in carphone warehouse - it was my first time seeing it in person and it was bloody great! love the design but the only thing that spoils it is the overload of orange, the front looks awesome!

Shame the colour cant be changed, would have liked to see that option.. perhaps if all us w800 owners ask se nicely enough they might add a few colours in the firmware update...
