@doc chikito
my unit is artic blue. thanks pero im a little bit confused pa din. hehehe!:g

@nookiehunter
i bot my t68i for 17,400php last Sept9 at GH but i saw 1 sellng at 17,300 kso they dont have extra stocks so more or less yung nakadisplay na din ang pinapatest nila sa t68i buyers/lookers(dami na cguro joystick count nun). So bettr ask for a new stock and be patient in asking every store at gh. For sure by now mas mababa na yung price. hehehe! But if money is not an issue, go for the dealers may free upgrade pa from Smartnet. Actually im supposed to buy a t68m upgraded to i lang kso nakakainis yung mga tindera pag tatanungin mo if the unit was upgraded from t68m/mc, they just said its upgraded to i. Parang ndi nasagot yung tanong ko but then i assume that the ones selling at gh are t68mc kse they all have chinese on keypad. The t68(lunar gray and z. gold w/ chinese on keypad) bnew are selling for as low as 11,500. Akala ko kse before that t68mc is not a good choice but then pag na-upgrade na pla ok na din. Good luck! You wont regret buying a t68:ta:

@mozilla168
At the back, near the sim it says
t68i
2561/55 R4A
But there's a chinese character on the keypad but not the ones i saw on t68mc. (For example the char on the #1 key looks like a hypen, char on #3 looks like a slash, #5 looks like number 2, #7 looks like letter L)

@gowin
the SW info is
R2E006
prgCXC125387
R2E006
prgCXC125326_TAE
blah...blah...blah...

@flaminglips
got mine at ghills too but manual is in chinese and box says t68i. at d back label right side corner besides the sim there's no "iDA singapore" it only says t68i. Btw, wats the font inconsistency? How would i know if i have this problem?

@G_M
The best pala ang service nyo dyan sa Smartnet, ang daming satisfied customers. Keep up the good work! Im still observing my t68i, pag may problema punta ako dyan for an upgrade.

As a conclusion i can't still figure out if my unit is t68ie or a t68ic:-? . It has chinese input and chinese char on keypad so does it mean it's a t68ic? It uses asianlatin3(en/chi) but someone said that its only available for t68ie, so it's t68ie? Ano ba tlaga mga kuya?:-? Pasensya na kyo im bothered kse its just like knowing your name and yet u dont know ur surname.

cheers!:D

@guyvet your unit is definitely a T68i. the sonyericsson branded T68i has support for both chinese and euro languages.. therefore if your unit does have or doesn't have chinese characters, regardless, it is a T68i.

you saw the pinyin characters in your unit's keypad which means it is an asian version (chinese market) of the T68i. the ones sold by the authorized dealers are of the euro version.

don't be confused, if your unit is the arctic blue or the mineral grey, most likely (98%), it is a T68i.

*ie and ic units are T68m/mc only upgraded to i version, thus the color gold/grey*

t68m and t68i are for euro and other asian countries

t68ic is really t68ie (singaporeans in esato calls it t68ic to differentiate daw but actually it's t68ie)

basta there are chinese characters in the keypad... t68mc/t68ie.

they just complicating it.

t68i
t68ie
t68m
t68mc

here we call it t68m-i (t68m that was i-imified)

I agree w/ 619. As far as i'm concernd, i can always change the keypad of a 68ic to those w/o chinese chars but if the text inconsistency can't be fixed by a FW or language pack upgrade then i'd rather get an m or an i. Maybe G_M can clarify.

good day smartnet people! can ya tell me when will R5A020 be available for us peeps here in pinas? another thread claims it is available for all incarnations of the T68 (i,ie,mc,m,etc.) too bad it still doesnt have the custom msg alert feature, but i guess it does give us a faster GUI and clears some more bugs (but might contain some new bugs altogether... oh well...)
I wonder how many more posts will i have to make b4 my avatar solidifies? he he he... just a thought. =)

Just wanna ask if it is normal that when u change the sim from smart to globe or vice versa all the messages stored in the phone will be deleted? Anyone experience this? Will an upgrade fix this?
