lol no, in the malay language "orang" means people, and utan sounds similiar to "hutan", which means jungle. Therefore orangutan sounds like "orang hutan", which translates to jungle people 
EDIT: btw, i know this becoz im originally from malaysia, and i think we still have the largest amount of orangutans in our forests. y'know, just in case any1 wondered y a person in australia knows about malay LoL

Hi I'm a newbie. I'm guessing all us newbies have to post here? Anyway if so here's my post. I've just purchased a k800i, have always had nokia or motorola and finding sony ericsson a bit difficult to get used to. Great camera tho. |
