The S4 just sarted selling today here. Its price is cheap considering its features and hardware. We're having the octacore.

People reporting already on the net of the usual over heating issues which happens sometimes on early adoption.

Almost seems to me that Samsung hardly needs to advertise anymore as they just sell anyway

Some random pics taken with my GS4, they range between 9-13MP:
Busy trying to kill my battery right now still at 38% I think it's going to outlast me as usual.

I bet I could drain a S4 battery quicker.
Stick on Minecraft for an hour or two with screen brightness set to 50%, or an hour long video call over Skype will probably take a big chunk of the battery life.

Just played a whole lot of Angry Birds Star Wars, also trying to replicate the heat issues some are having but to no avail, it does get warm but not hot, my GS3 used to get warmer than this TBH, GS4 so far has to be the 'coolest' phone ive had, maybe Im just luck, anyway I've got the batt down to 19%, I just want to get it to around 5% then I'll charge.

Got mine in Black Mist on Wednesday.
Very impressed. I actually think it feels classier than the S3.
Camera takes stunning photos.
Little bit of lag on the menus (which is to be expected one the first firmware) when I first got it.
Screen is impressive but imo not a massive step up from the S3, apart from the colours which seem less saturated.
Really impressed that Samsung have already released a firmware update already (less than a week after release), this seems to really reduce the amount of space the Samsung OS takes up (mine has droped from 7GB now to just 2GB of the 16GB) and maybe has improved the performance (still a little bit of lag for me but nothing to scream about). There are also new wallpapers.
The firmware thing above alone is why I won't move back to Sony - I remember having to wait literally months and months from release to get bug fix updates from Sony. Well done Samsung! |

Just ran AnTuTu and got a benchmark of 25875 on the S600 version.
That's an increase from the 25250 I got earlier on the older firmware .

Not being funny in a quad core or octa core powerhouse like this there really shouldn't be any lag. It should not be,to be expected early on. It shouldn't be at all. This is typical Android it's never lag free

Yeah I agree Bono, it was actually quite surprised when (before the new firmware) when I turned it on because my S3 had a lot less lag.
Typical case of software not being optimised on the earlier models. My X S had the same issue when I first got it then Sony brought out the firmware update. |

Congrats Rickser! Glad you're enjoying it to!
Got to love how swift Samsung are, less than a week in and ALREADY a fw update to sort out all the little issues indeed if it was a Sony we'd be waiting a month, then there would be some sort of cock&bull delay and when we do get the update it would most likely partly fix the issues while bringing other bugs with it
The increase in AnTuTu score must mean Samsung are further optimizing the S600 for TouchWiz, I'm sure it can hit a good 26000, but what does it matter? It's proven to be the best S600 based smartphone around anyway!
