Yes,there the same ones that came in my Arc S box. Not the best headphones not as good as the live headset!!
Actually, they are not the very same. Arc headsets (or any other SE headsets) won't work with the Xperia S, it has a different connector pin layout (the same as iPhone).

And since the old Xperias have standard 3.5mm headphone jack, that means that Xperia S has some kind of widely unknown type of audio jack that requires special headphones. DAMN YOU Sony!

ICS brings hardware acceleration, support for multiple cores in phones, better optimized, and has better power management. I remember reading somewhere that many features were not ready for the ics, so they will be ready for the next version(jelly bean)
Pity it's not a more in-depth review.

It has no music or no call voice? Music must play in to it/

When will final retail firmware be out?? Those photos again look same as Arc/Arc S quality & why so much colour noise??
I think you'll find Bono that that is final retail firmware and as we know, SE/Sony don't tend to tweak the camera. What is strange is that the earlier photos were coming in at 2.5 - 3MB, but rog's latest photos are around 1 - 2mb - disappointing.
The UI looks very quick and slick, after seeing the interface preview video on Xperiablog the UI looks an evolution not a revolution but certainly looks more polished than ever (I love the weather and power control widgets). |

Hmm, the SE webpage states:
3.5 mm audio jack
Share your music via the extra jack. Use any headphones with a standard-sized 3.5 mm connector.

They have changed from the EU-standard to US-standard. A very good move imo. Now all the iphone headsets will work on xperia S. |

Let me fix that for you. And who cares if the iPhone headphones gonna work? If you have enough money to buy Xperia S, that means you should have enough money to buy decent Philips/Sony/Panasonic/Sennheiser/AKG headphones for it, if you need such, in stead of buying that iphone crap.

From the pictures I've seen it pretty much looks like a 3.5mm one.
Unless it's actually a 2.5mm one, which would be stupid.
EDIT: Pic from CES

No, it's 3.5mm one, but different standard, named TRRS, that requires specific type of headphones. It's explained here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRS_connector
EDIT: After I spent some time reading that wikipedia article, I came to the happy conclusion, that the TRS plugs are still compatible with that specific TRRS jack, while the opposite combination doesn't work.

Ah, world thx! Well incase you haven't noticed, all the big brands you mentioned make iphone headsets. In fact, the majority of headsets they make are iPhone headsets. Nokia and SE was practically alone with their standard. It was wrong of me to just say iPhone headset however, I mean the standard, not "apple made headsets". Sorry for the confusion |

That's what I was just going to say.
I was sure it would otherwise have been very stupid of Sony to implement this type of jack.
