@spag

TV ads:
the one for the t68i + communicam before...

and now the the one for the t610 with the phone transferring form one person to the other (quick share)...

sony also has a commercial with the p800 in it along with the other sony devices that uses the memory stick.

Print ads:

for the t86i... taking pictures of two kids riding a bycicle. came out in magazines

for the t100... the phone hanging on the neck of a pretty girl. came out in the newspapers.

Movie appearances:
t68i and P800: james bond
t610: charlies angels

tanong ko lang. meron bang nagtitinda (warranted) sa pinas ng O2 XDA na possible na magtinda ng XDA2? Also i'd like to know your choice, P900 or XDA2?

dont' know.
maganda ba ang XDA?

Feeling ko kasi malaki siya. and it's more of a PDA than a phone.
The P900 will be smaller than the p800 so it a plus if size matters to you.

A friend of mine got a XDA from Complink - Park Square (for 36K) with a 1 year warranty, he got it last August. I just heard that he recently have this replaced because it was defective, no sound. He said Complink would also market the XDA2 by mid 2004.

Almost all of my friend that used XDA complained about its battery life (to short, only 1 day).

If you ask me, get the P900!!!

Hello people! Is there any truth to the rumour that come December '03 either Smart or Globe will be releasing their SE P800 models on a PHP 800.00/month plan???????????. Right now, Smart is offering their Amazing Phone on that scheme (800.00/month subscription) -I guess this is the BEST deal to date, the only setback that I have been hearing about that model is it's battery's performance - quite minimal!!! I guess this is just a rumour, but if someone out there knows about this, please relay/speak-out further. Thanks!

anybody here working for globe may be you can help me out?
i have a globe locked t610, the problem is globe's signal at my place is not that good. 0-1 bar. while other network providers, sun and smart, gives out a very good signal.
maybe you could get me a my nck codes so i can just divert my calls to a prepaid sim from other networks when im home.
thanks.

Just got a t610

Several issues I have:
1. there's no way of knowing how many characters you have typed when composing SMS

2. Some people I send SMS to said they never received my message. Never happened to my Nokia 6610

3. Using a Tungsten T3 and BT for sending SMS, some recepients says they didn't receive my messages

4. Sometimes the phone 'sleeps' where I can't receive calls or SMS

It's a very nice phone but if I can't get SMS on time or reliably send out SMS I might sell this again. I can't miss messages in my line of work.

Any input on these? Thanks!

@dmxmd

When I'm using my T610, the counter will only start counting down when you have 23 characters left. Otherwise, there is no character counter when typing SMS, just like in the T68i. I guess we will just have to wait and see if SE will incorporate this feature in future firmwares for the T610/T630/Z600.

Regarding your problem about SMS sent but not received and not able to take incoming calls/SMS when the phone 'sleeps', please have it checked by SE Service Solutions in Makati. You did buy your T610 from an authorized SE retail outlet? If so, having that fixed or replaced is not going to be a problem.

I also use my Palm for composing SMS. And it is paired with both my T610 and T68i. So far, I have no problems with messages not received.
