@gurmukh
There isnt im affraid, thwe loudness i beleive is there for a reason.
Many people think they have pressed the button and thus cutting of the call, however in some occasions they havnt, so i beleive that se have increased this so that the user can hear if the call has cut of or not,

Also on occasions in noisy places the call could suddenly drop, some people dont relise that the call has dropped with out having to lokk at the screen, with the new noise they now no.
Hope this sort of answers the question

Does anyone have battery charging issues? My phone will not charge to 100% no matter how long I charge it for. I've drained it until it shuts itself off then charged it for 16hrs and it still only gets a 98% charge.

Is this a problem with my phone or the battery?

Thanks in advance.

Your shouldnt really have a problem as far as im aware.

However R1DA038 does slightly behave better when charging and saying its at 100% quciker, however i never had a problem charging my k850 on R1CA037 firmware tho

As for the divert symbol I think it must be something that's set to divert. In the calls section of the setting menu you should be able to do a 'check all' on diverts. It will either be data, fax, video or voice calls that are diverted.

Thanks for trying to help

If I go to settigs > Calls > Divert Calls I have two options Voice calls and Video Calls. If I select either of those it takes me to an empty menu, with only the 'back' soft key enabled.

Is this normal for a sim free, non branded phone?

My phone is debranded but SIM locked to Voda (I don't think the SIM lock will have any bearing on this though) and when I go to settigs > Calls > Divert Calls I see this...

Obviously you won't see my thumb but I'd guess your menu should look similar. Selecting video calls (or indeed any of the other options goes to this...

At no point during any of the submenus do I get only a back button enabled and no options available to select.

I'm thinking that if you don't see these options then there's something not quite right. Either you've not got a generic firmware or it needs reflashing or (least likely in my eyes) if you have a sim card on a network or deal that doesn't allow data/fax calls then the sim could have disabled them from the menu. I'm discounting the idea it could be a regional thing because I'm assuming you're in the UK.

Try plugging into SEUS and forcing a reflash. (I'm really glad that SE put this feature into SEUS, it could solve so many problems without having to send off or return the phone).

Thanks for the reply and screenshots (including thumb!), it's always helpful to see what it should look like!

These are mine...

I only have the two options for diverts, I have circled the icon I want to remove.

As you can see this is the voice calls section but video is the same.

I'll try re-flashing it tonight and see what happens!

is that not the accepted caller divert?

settings>calls>manager calls>Accept calls> (you then get an option for all/only from list/none) dont no if its that but worth a try?

That icon definitely symbolises divert all video calls. I can't understand why you wouldn't be able to turn it off though. Which network are you on? Do you have a wap browsing package/add-on? Has the icon been there since you got the phone?

The phone was bought sim free, I'm on Orange, pay as you go SIM, no WAP browsing configured that I know of

The icon has indeed been there since I turned the phone on.

I checked the firmware was up-to-date when I turned it on and didn't bother to update it. Maybe a re-flash will cure this :?

I'm not entirely sure what to expect, but it's worth trying. I can't think of what else could remove the icon for you. If it doesn't do anything then maybe talk to your network or for advice and don't forget to come back here and let us know how it goes.

got a few questions...
as the play button is no longer on the side, who do you press PAUSE ?? when listening to music on the go!!!

Also why is it that texting is so slow now? takes ages for the letters to appear....in fact the phone is slow in general....

Also the 4way square thing is soo hard to press, when compared to the touch buttons!

Also the number pad is a bit hard to use, i prefer the one on the k810i, which is BIGGER and easier to use.....

also what do you do for those apps that still think you have the k800i like buttons??!
Had: two ericsson's, two startac's, samsung a100, panasonic, nokia 7600, nokia 8100, sony s700, w800i, k750i, k810i, now k850i

I must be one of the very few people who love the keypad and the Dpad on the 850. I actually think it's one of the best set ups I've used in a while!
