nope, it doesn't have milky contrast in low-light. my pics are fine except of a bit too much red color as an answer for city lights

are you saying that this night shoots have good blackness & sharpness ???? just crazy to just say something else when you clearly see the opposite

@code28h4p.....once again......try Document mode next time at night.........you will get sharper & better contrast, (just a friendly tip).

ps....
just compare Mr.julius night shot..................its miiiiiiiles different in blackness & sharpness

i know you using auto mode (its not oversharp, quite easy to see)........( i also don't use Document much with C902...there is no need for it).

.................i just give this C901 owner a good tip how to get his night pics better.

isn't this strange that only you see something wrong in these pics? ok nevermind, first picture is good, second pic is worse but I know exactly why and you know this too - just look at the street lamps. try to find a camera which is in 100% resistant to light scattering on the glass surface, I wish you luck

once again......try Document mode next time at night.........you will get sharper & better contrast, (just a friendly tip).

i just give this C901 owner a good tip how to get his night pics better

mrjulius used lower EV, document mode is lower EV (-0.7EV) as default in C902, I don't remember EV in C901

just compare Mr.julius night shot..................its miiiiiiiles different in blackness & sharpness

1. mrjulius shot is not devastated by the street lamps
2. light conditions are different. late sunset on mrjulius shot, night on code28h4p shot
3. code28h4p used twilight mode. this is mode with longer exposure where contrast is never good

they are not comparable

document gives max sharpness and +1 to "contrast" (not really contrast) in C902 and +2 in C901. too much sharpness in low-light is not a good choice, details are sharper but noise too
