Are the build issues batch related or across the board?

I doubt Orange will let me exchange the phone if I find out its from the October or November batch. Thye will only exchange if something goes wrong with it so just gotta hope for the best. |

From what I gathered W42-46 are the most damaged batch, 47-48 still has it but far less, 49 onwards seem to be OK but that could be because guys buying W49 units and onwards haven't reported it on Esato (or other forums for that matter). |

ok kool
this will be my first SE handet since the K700i. So am a bit dissapointed that there are these issues. I also heard there were alot of problems with the k850i too which have made people say SE have been slipping recently and bringing out very buggy handsets. |

@vanny
If you checked quite a few pages back you will get complete information on C905's weak points. Aside from that the phone has a lot of good features on regular non-smart phones such as WiFi connectivity, GPS/aGPS, Smart Search - things like these make it capable of holding its own against Symbian phones. |

Well, Compare C905 to K850 is different league, don't forgot SE stopped production of K850 because that model has to much fault.
About the C905, get production week after W45, it should be safe, got mine from W45, no problem at all,
So I'm the one who is very happy with mine C905, can't wait for the next big firmware update which support smileshort and youtube.
But as I said before this phone don't have any software fault so far, what I know, but some design fault with the early versions..

you would have thought they learnt from mistakes on the K850i and made sure the c905 was bug free. |

software-wise C905 doesn't have many bugs but hardware-wise there are many problems with it |

Tbh, K850 was junk!
C905 is miles better, both SW and HW, it's way better built and have a great design imo.
The first batch of any new device from every producer is not the best imo, to avoid this, buy a device that's been on the marked awhile.
