nearly a month now, no c905 returned from SE repair service, what ever you do, don't send your phone off to the repair service, cope with keeping the c button held down

Returned mine for defect earpeice late November, got a message 2. Janaur saying its mine own fault, because it had metalshrapnel in the phone!!!!
No further info on how much and were and so on, i had the phone for 2 weeks before it broke down. And now they are charging almost 100£ for repairs
So now i have complained via my retailer that they suck ref. to this thread, so now i just have to wait again. But restasure i will NOT accept their demands!!!

I am heeding your advice and waiting, I can live without the earpiece, have gotten used to switching to speakerphone, since the speakerphone speaker is on the bottom and the mic is on the top I lower the volume all the way, turn the phone upside down and talk that way. The things we do not to part with our c905's!

I have had the phone for 2 months, my menu buttons still respond fine, no scratches on the keypad, and my keys are not lifting. I am a power user, I'm on the thing all blessed day, I've probably used my phone more in 2 months then the average user would in a year, but the damn earpiece is the only stick in my side at the moment.

What does everybody think of the keypad coming off

It's actually hanging off at the bottom * key. Is this a fault?

Are you seriously asking this as a genuine question? Is it a fault?! No its a feature! - Of course its a fault, kinda like your steering wheel coming off your car while your driving it!

Rather than asking moronic questions wouldnt your time be better spent chasing up a repair? Duh!

As for my C905. Still going good, no scratched keypad, no sticking dpad, no wobly slider, and NO KEYPAD COMING OFF.

I've heard many cases of Scratched keypads issue (including mine), but never heard if the keypad would fall off i really hope not all of the scratches in the keypads would end up as a fallen out keypad at the end.

I'm not really sure how this sms conversation thing will work...ive had a look around and can't find much info about it, can anyone help me understand it?

Got my C905 today, beautiful phone, won't be able to test the camera til i get a night out. Thought the wifi was well implemented, i dont usually use the internet on my phones but i'll utilise this function on such a high quality piece of kit.

Does anyone know in the new firmware will they change the annoyance that is SMS and MMS being as one function? I much prefer having them seperate.

@masada1971

AFAIK, mid-February.

@nealmcp

Basically it shows received text messages and sent text messages between you and one certain contact individually for each contact, making it look like an IM window.

Cool, im guessing it does this if you're having conversations with more than one contact at a time. Im looking forward to that. Thanks.

Also, a simpler version of this feature appears as a message management option on C702, C902, T700 and several others.
