I've tried to update my K750i on O2 to the latest firmware (currently have aa008) but it constantly says it is the latest update.

Does anyone know if the O2 firmware was withdrawn??

I'll put it in bold this time, so people actually read it!

If your phone is branded, in all likelihood you will still get R1AA. It takes time from the release of a new firmware for operators to test it on their networks, brand it and approve SEUS to distribute it.

It should be noted that it is not unusual for some operators to skip a firmware update entirely if they feel it has little benefit for their customers or if it fails their tests

As far as I am aware, noone here in Esato knows when branded firmwares for the major operators will be released.

Ooh! Just noticed that the number of visitors to this thread has now exceeded 1 million!! This is substantially more than my previous K700/K500 (300,000) & T610/T630 (30,000) threads.

Yep I'm sure, I was on 'R1N035' before if that helps. Just installed the update service (as I didn't have it before) and got it straight away (first attempt). I was worried at first because my computer wouldn't recognise the phone when I attached the usb cable after restarting the phone; but it resolved it self and it works ok now.

Yep - kind of equates to the need to update to the K750 just to get it to work I guess.

Tried updating - no update for UK O2 yet.
