Coola live from Umuahia: MTN GPRS was live from Abuja, along the way up to Lokoja; then up to Ajaokuta, Obollo-9th mile, and even the expressway from Enugu to PH! MTN GPRS was live everywhere there was coverage EXCEPT IN UMUAHIA town! Very impressive... 9 over 10!!

Coola the tourist!Wouldn't want to start clapping for MTN until they do something about their speed which obviously they did something to because it's never been this bad.How's the speed all the way though? |

@all, happy easter in advance. @easydee, I tried d free CSD stuff and it worked. Infact, rite now I'm posting 4rm it via operamini cos anytym I try using wap(be it gprs/csd) I get a bad gateway. @Ifedisky, wat response do u get 4rm operamini? Does it say "An unexpected error occured", or, "Connection 2 server failed...." ?

@mikk: tho i know t68i has gotten a bad rap from PNF elders, i say its a good buy. i ddnt want you buyin a tokumbo p900 for 30k and start experiencin bugs, screen flickers and the like a few wks down the road. a brand new t68i should go for what? 10k? which nokia low end phone can compare with its stats and specs? @all: let me post my techie problem of the week: one advantage of the opera mini 1.2 was supposed to be the download feature. when i go to the SAVE TO FILE menu, then to the drive labelled RMS:/, i can see all the items i saved, but i cant access it from my phone during normal usage. am i missing something? and is it possible to upload photos on my phone?
@coola d travella: was e gprs workin on the road but not the town? thats wicked. |

Holy god!!My GPRS disappeared entirely on vmobile yester night but lo and behold appeared back this morning and,hear this!,connects through opera at heaven sent speed.Check the the speed out man,I'm redeemed!! |

Abu am having d same probs too wit my vmob csd after configuring wit d new dial up no, response after send n recieve says cannot connect to web server on my samsung R220.

Vmobile GPRS is the fastest of the GPRS networks but one cannot download or stream videos of not more than 125kb, can one do anything to this, i mean to increase the download rate, do anyone else notice this too? |
