I can't find Swype cause they closed down the beta. What am I suppose to do?
Yes it is awesome. Go to https://beta.swype.com/ on your phone, register and get the official beta version.

Ill try on my phone. It's on update. I had R10014 or something and I guess the latest is R2XXX. Can't rely on SE for latest update lol

I don't see the point in rooting X10. At least in my opinion, the phone is great as it is, I'm not going to root it when I get it.
The best mobile phone brand died with Sony Ericsson's death. Shame on you Sony for killing it! And, of course, for ruining the Xperia brand... Mediar's Site |

They really do need to hurry up with the update.
OT: I gotta say at this stage, my X10 is still looking good. Despite being an all plastic design, the build quality is excellent.

The latest firmware is R1FA016 in India since April as it is in most part of the world. Just wait for the update |

Seems like most of the people on here with an X10 spend all their timing just waiting for an update. Is the phone really so screwed up that you can't just enjoy it until the update arrives? People are getting so frustrated waiting for this update which is no doubt fairly minor, that I wonder whether for their own health they should just return the phone to where they got it.

It's always good to be updated
EDIT: Also I want to add. I want to learn more about E-mail on Android. Somehow I don't get how to setup Push e-mail. What means sync 4 days? and when I open any e-mail on inbox and then when I refresh it goes away. When I was using X1i WM 6.1 the mails you to stay on phone till I don't see it on web. Once I see my e-mails on web it goes away from the phone. Anybody who can help me out with some more detailed E-mail client on Android
Thank you

i love my x10a the way it is. I'm more curious about speed increases with the update. As is, it's pretty snappy, and I'm just trying to imagine how much faster it can get.
Being in the NAM though, we probably won't get any updates until the major one in a few months. I just hope it comes the same time as everyone else.

I think we are not spending time waiting for update... but we are spending time enjoying our the X10. We are greedy and wanting to know how more amazing the phone can be. As of now, it is very amazing.
Until now since april, I am still spending my time installing a lot and a lot of applications..... |

Hi all, I'm new here (have been reading forums quite long time) and I'm not sure if I should buy XPERIA10 or Samsung Galaxy S ? I think XPERIA10 looks much nicer, but has any other advantages vs. Samsung?
