| if there was anything like ''shower hour'', my sisters would know cos they're always watching, I just asked & they said there was nothing like that. As per the nothern part of Nija, i'm very sure they wont even know what bigbrother is all about cos they are more conservative than u can imagine. Religion is more important over there, while guys in the east, west & south love fun, games & adventure.. |

well if u read through the last 8 or 9 threads u'll see dat i raised a topic on bigbrother nigeria n also the star quest show. But since i did not get a reply, i felt dis forum was filled wiv borin pple( no offence y'all

) so i had to blend. My point is, not all people who reside in d north r socially backward. I reside in d north( though am not from there) am sure any1 wiv a dstv wether frm north or south would know bout bigbrother. n i've already voted ify out- evn though she's pretty, i dnt rlly like her

Well, I'm just using the general statistics over there which I believe is correct. Most nothern guys are not really interested in entertainment such as TV.. Except for some few.
@easy, are you really from the north or you just reside there? |

@ Abubakar~ i tried to download n it took me 20s to download 2.81kb that is to say d speed is apprxmtly 0.14kb/1s which of course is relatively slow wen compared to d last info u gave but i beleive it depends on the time of d day,for csd n evn gprs, they both tend to be faster @ night n as regards phone model, wel i guess the bigger the faster too. |

@Abu: You either have not understood me or have refused to. I maintain that I would rather not start a debate that will lead nowhere.
It was illuminating to read your reply to the poster who said he belived things were better now because a road he was familiar with was resurfaced. You accused him of very low expectations.
I suspect that is the direction our debate will go. I believe things are better while you disagree. We should leave it at that.
I am happy we both agree that the military is ill equip for governace in Nigeria or anywhere at that.

Will arsenal bounce back from this weekend defeat to man u, they lack that mental strength to come back to secure their champions league placement and much sought after European glory

Hi all! Had a nice weekend with my folks. My sis and brother were all around with their families. The discussion on OBJ was, well, interesting.
One major risk OBJ faces is that ALL his effort may be difficult to see because of this 3rd-term wahala. Guys like Abu will never agree that OBJ has performed. But, he has.
I am using MTN GPRS/Opera on my PC and browsing at 0.3 kbs (using a neat little app called Net Meter). It has been VERY slow these days... even my favourite online bud Amby has abandoned me. Abu, hope that helps. |

Hello good people.Got 2 really unburden my heart now that I have a lead.MTN GPRS has been achingly slow as confirmed by Cool even at night which happens to be my favourite browsing time.Vmobile,on the other hand remains relatively faster,8kbps.Now compare with 18mbps you get with MTns HSDPA in south africa and you'll know where the stone age is

Thought i was alone on this GPRS creep, seems it's national. Don't y'all think it's intentional from MTN? |
