I don't get it actually is the axiom shop open? And do we need yet another distributer?
I'd just like competition in this country. I mean isn't the middle east and egypt like a continuation of Europe in the term of sails? So why does SE not care? Till now Raya hasn't avertised itself as being an SE dealer, is Sagem more important? When I walked into Raya I expected to see new phones but all I saw was exactly what deltek had and nothing new. Now I do plan to buy a phone quite soon but how do I do that when all the prices are way over any other country not to mention that they don't move down. How many months does it take to release a phone? I'd like to buy something better than the W300, technically I should be able to choose between a Z550, Z710 and W710 and if I wait the K550, K770, W770 and W610 all would be options, but since the launched phones aren't here yet what chance do the yet to be announced have. Shouldn't SE be getting about Egypt? Everyone has had a nokia for so long now they probably want a change.
So how did everybody like my new year rant?

axiom telecom is a huge mobile phones dealer....check out their web site and you will get what i mean http://www.axiomtelecom.com
and i think yes, we need more and more competitors....if axiom take SE dealership, SE will flourish in egypt....
about Raya...u know what, i asked exactly the same question....why on earth sagem is advertised and SE is not ?? it sounds so sillyyyy....
anyway...we will wait and see....
ahh...another thing do u know if they still sell P910 and deltatek ? and for how much ?

Well, its usually WYSIWYG with deltek and I haven't seen a P910 in a while so I guess not. And since we all know deltek's incompetence I'd think they'd try to sell it for LE 4000 if they did.
I know axiom, but it still doesn't matter. i2, was etisalat, is a dealer for almost every brand existing but only sells nokia in Egypt.
I'm wondering if Raya might have bought deltek's dealerships, seeing that so far I haven't seen anything that deltek doesn't have, I'll check them out again today and hopefully they'll be something new.

Iphone's software is nice other than that it's something for the American market. By the time it get here we'll be wnting something better than 5MP cameras and N95 will probably have a successor. But then I still don't care I'm going to buy a phone soon and it'll be in the $300 range. W810 although unlikely, W770 or a 3G version if Etisalat has contracts with subsidised phones, or maybe a ROKR. Apple, there's too much hype and not enough substance.
And on Etisalat, there was a one page article/ad about the first 3G call by the minister of communications. The minsty partners a lot with microsoft, you'd have thought that one of the phones would be a 3G Windows Mobile phone. They didn't say when service will start but maybe it'll be March afterall?

Well I'm not sure but I think the E2 is LE1800. Hopefully SE's will come down in price and maybe some newer ones will be closer to that price.
You need to post in the Sony Ericsson area for posts to count anything else only counts till midnight.

in egypt is there a way to hide your number when calling someone?
or do you have to use a phone card??

I don't know about hiding your phone number, but a phone card won't work. Your number will still come up as 0808xxxxxxxxx and mobiles recognise the number.

You could burn a hole in your pocket by calling them from your US line, if you can roam, do it from outside the door and then knock. Of that's if your not trying to hide
