did you have any of the "hacks" installed before updating isync? if yes did you delete them / revert to original state?
try deleting your phone from the bluetoooth devices list in preferences and deleting it in /users/youruser/library/phones/
then re-pair the phone and try again.
I had tried the hacks to without success. I decided to wait on apple.
well by now I could't remember where and what i had changed so i just updated without reverting to the original state. it worked find first but after syncing one iSync always crashed on me... well I was planing on doing a clean install anyway so this was th best reason...
now syncing the phone works. However I can not initiate calls through the adress book or send a SMS either. anyone else got this bug?

If you've installed my phoneplugin file mentioned previously, delete it, restart and try re-pairing again. I had to do this too.

the address book features doesnt work for my k750 either (cant dial or send sms). isync works 100% for me tho (but never tried the previous "hacks").
however, one thing ive noticed n dont like is when synced, the contacts on my phone have a dash, "-" where theres supposed to be a space (also same with my motorola v80 but at the time i thought it was an issue with motorola). for example. if my contact is supposed to be "Bob's Wireless Shop" on the address book app on my mac. on the phone it'll show up as "Bob's-Wireless-Shop". anyone know why? and more importantly, how to fix it?
ive synced my p900 before with isync (pre-tiger) and ive never had that happen before. |

ok i fixed the address book compatability issue. after browsing the apple forums heres what i found.. just follow the instructions n it should work
Make a backup of /Applications/Address Book.app/Contents/Resources/Telephony.bundle/Contents/Resources/ABDeviceCommandSets.plist (so you have something to fall back on should something go horribly wrong, of course)
Using BBEdit or TextEditor, edit the file above, locate a set of lines that says:
(array>
K700
(/array>
Simply add another line so that it says:
(array>
K700
K750
(/array>
all credit goes to Lawrence Rillera.
now.. my question is.. how do i keep address book on all the time? i like the caller id feature. cuz most of the time i keep my phone on silent n i get alot of missed calls (so i dont have to switch back to silent when im not skool or work). or know of a free app that have this functionality too (there used to be a free app but now its paid).
also.. what about the syncing dash issue ("-" where theres supposed to be a space)? does this happen to u as well? |

My k750 won't accept files from my powerbook , macos 10.4.2 , isync 2.1 , isync says "can't connect to this device" , sending files from phone to mac works great , not other way around . . .
more details here . . .

I'm having trouble with iSync and my K750i. All contacts with a birthday in Addressbook won't sync to my phone. Is anyone else experiencing this problem? |

I managed to get iSync working again, albeit after a full reinstallation! Cheers for the tips tho...
Got another issue though... When i connected my K750i to my iBook to transfer some themes, some files with names that start in ._ appeared as well. Now I can't erase them at all... Any ideas? |

Problems I've noticed using OS X 10.4.2 and iSync 2.1...
1. I'm not able to answer incoming K750i calls or send calls to voicemail using the Address Book in OS X 10.4.2? Dialing and SMS work fine.
2. iSync 2.1 does not sync birthdays.
Anyone else having the same problems? |

Hi!
I'm using a mac OS10.3 and a SE K750i. When i transfer files using the cable, there seem to be this extra file which cannot be open or deleted. Is this normal?? How should i get rid of it?? |

@Vampire and Temporal_Dragon
This is normal. The Mac OS X generates these files as part of Finder when it keeps track of files. Go to: Click me or Click me also and finally: Hey, click me too
These will delete the files. Before you disconnect from your Mac, run one of these programs. Pick the directory, usually the Root and this will delete all files that Finder created.

Just found this program that claims to halt the crashes associated with using the USB cable and the k750i. I do not have a k750i, but have a z800 and it seems to work. Go to: Click me to download.
Good luck

Wahey, it works! Now all I need is Salling Clicker updated and I'm sorted. |

Salling Clicker 3.0 is coming soon which does support the K750i. I'm currently officially testing a beta version and its definately gonna be worth the wait.
