The airport code is SXM. Just like FRA for Frankfurt/Germany. That is where the SXM comes from. Sometimes it is used instead of St. Maarten. See www.sxm-info.com for info on sxm.

@Brasco, very creative one!!!
@Resident, you're right, sometimes city names get mixed with city or airport codes, specially in the turism industry where everyone talks in codes and nick names. For example sometimes I say to a friend or relative that I´m flying to "Ghuarulos or GRU" whem I´m going to Sao Paulo, or "Ezeiza or EZE" when going to Buenos Aires.

Now is the turn of Mexico City
Mexico Presidential Palace.
Mexico City Cathedral.
Palace of Bellas Artes, Mexico DF Main Arts Museum.
Benito Juarez Monument, near Garibaldi Plaza, Mariachis Home.
A view of the old Virgen the Guadalupe Cathedral.
Outside and inside the new one.
And the sunset behind the buildings of the world's biggest city.
See you next time from Buenos Aires

@Brasco i used to think so too but after a few weeks i became more and more intrigued by it. I'll agree it's not without its boring parts, though :-( @plasmadog the doctor wasn't very pleased with me drinking coke in his office :-(

Sorry guys but this was a short flight, and sundays Buenos Aires is a gost town because everybody partys until 11/12 in the morning.
Anyway, my friends Dan and Magaly and me enroute to BsAs, on the aft galley of the A320, that plane is the newest on the fleet, with just about 50 flight hours.
a shot on the approach to Ezeiza's International.
BsAs Metro approaching the station
Dan and me on the metro, going to the mall to get something to eat.
And finally a sample of that beautiful european style of BsAs.
See you next from Sao Paulo!!!

@asterix - yo should do like a 'travelogue' thread or one of these internet 'blogs' - you could boost tourism to South America singlehandedly!
Very nice pictures and photography, keep 'em coming!
