If no HDR then I'd be happy if anything can be done with Best pics to have more than the 7 photo choices or even extend the the interval between pics using the EV.
At the moment it takes 7 pics in about 1 second (fast) and 1.5 seconds (slow), can it be changed using EV to take 7 or maybe mor pics over 2,3,4,5 seconds or however long you have set the EV. So -2.0 could be the fast 1 second going up in half second intervals up to 7 seconds at +2.0

hi riksilvers,
yes, i agree that would be really good feature. it would make producing an HDR image a lot easier with C905.
I am not sure its possible though.. lets hope Witchking finds a way.. |

the C905 will never be able to produce a picture like that 2nd HDR photo on its own.. you will always need to use software like photoshop, photomatix.. etc to manipulate the pictures you have taken to produce that kind of HDR effect.
I think you have the wrong expectations here my friend..
I know did that one dude...we'll need just EV +/- diference...3 or more pics for use a software for made a HDr pics... |

Jake, a few questions I have: did you use a tripod or something, did you manual switch "ev" values between each shot?
BTW, outstanding pics, well done!

Hi trojan! how are you my friend? busy?
yea, some pictures (due to not using a tripod) I just cannot take good for HDR, as they never seem to line up good for a nice HDR shot, like that 2nd picture. I got lots of noise in that shot.
I have also been having a strange issue where my c905 is taking a really long time before I am able to focus between shots.
Sometimes I have to wait almost a minute before I am able to focus and take a shot. I am thinking it may be due to the amount of light or something maybe.
Has anyone else seen this happen?

Yup.... happens pretty often on mine... so what I started doing was just using the landscape mode so the focus is a non-issue and works great in most cases....

My Satio comes tomorrow, so I will be able to compare picture quality with the C905.
I hope someone develops the camdriver for the Satio too. |

Thanks... that was a really lazy HDR.... only 5 frames and NO tone mapping
It was really more to show the crisp focus on the stack of images.... now that you mention it though, I may revisit that photo

It's not worth comparing Satio to C905 pics on here, Satio photos are way too compressed which means tons of noise.
So at the moment the C905 with modded camdriver is better.
I would guess if the Satio was modded too it could be way better than the C905.
