Hi Guys, looking for some help. I was able to follow the instructions and change my vodafone R1BA038 1215 6920 to 3 uk R1FA037 1212 9623. when I follow the same instructions to change back to vodafone 1215 6920, SEUS says update not available!

Any suggestions, as I am not able to change back.

You might be out of luck for now if the update has been pulled from SEUS. Try again in a couple of days and you should be able to go back. Why not just debrand though? Both Vodafone and 3 firmware branding is horrid!

Thanks for the repy, I thought that it would not allow me to change it at all. Can you suggest a debrand CDA and region to enter for the UK to see if it works, as I think that I may receive the same message in SEUS.

Cheers

1214-7311 is Generic United Kingdom. It has all the features and is available via SEUS. Good luck =)

Is there any specific reason why you have to have a nordic version on your phone. I used a hong kong firmware for a while with no problems...........Just curious.

Why??? If you look at his Location and mine, probably you see why we use NORDIC region.

I've heard that it's not recommended to flash the phone if European to Hong Kong etc.. In case of something goes wrong, you loose your warranty..

Peoples in service center will wonder why this phone has HONG KONG version instead of EUROPEAN.. And by the way... WHY have this SMS thingy been so popular??

At least 50% of you NEVER use, or going to use it..

Depends how you use it, you can always flash it back to Original firmware, if the phone is real dead service center can't even access the phone either. But What I know here in Sweden, they don't care about the firmwares, only HW part, if the firmware has the trouble, only they do is restore it to the Original, that what I talk to the guy at SE service center in SE, when mine K800 was totaly ¤%&/.

Finally gave up on waiting for the update to be available via FOTA, so have got the new firmware via SEUS

1205-9079

forgot how much of a pain resetting everything on the phone is, and weeding out all the crap that they give you free

Have the conversation chat, smile shutter etc

pissed off because I lost the game i actually paid for

Thanks for the reply.
What I dont understand is that I loaded my C905 with 1212-9623 cda from the list from A2 cda file generator 1212-9623 3_United_Kingdom. When accessing software version on the handset it shows as 1208 0461 090128 and when I connect to SEUS it shows as cdf 1212-9623

Also when attempting to change from C905 UK generic 1214 7311 back to 3 UK 1212 9623, I receive update not available in SEUS. What am I missing?

Came in here this morning to post the same thing. I haven't charged my phone since two days ago, whereas sometimes I used to be in the red after just one day. This is after heavy usage (approximately 5 hours of calls + 50-60 SMS). Granted, it does only have 10% charge, but something is definitely better!
