since it got m2 and microsd, does it mean that we can put in two card at the same time?

No, it works more like e.g. the 5-in-1 card reader you can find on some laptops (in case of K850, its more like 2-in-1 card reader).

I meant the W960 not the W910 and K850,only the W960 doesn't have it !
The Shake control will also be available on the Sony Ericsson W580 slider announced in March 2007.

ok here are the videos, as promised

1. 5 min demo of K850i, close up of the M2/microSD slot. does it fit? how long does it take to start up? how are the keys like? where's the lens protector?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rTo0z0uE5rI

2. reasons why you should not take the so-called camera samples off the k850i too seriously, it IS meant to look crap. find out why in this video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFtd90T_nRg

3. accelerometer on k850i in action. is it reliable? find out.

4. W960i new walkman interface showdown. how pretty is pretty?

SAM! Thank you for coming through and showing us the performance of the K850i. Definately sleuth & on point! Great Job. We should ALL be lucky to find out SOOO much information WITH video proof this early in the game. I don't think we've ever had this so close to an SE announcement before.

Sorry if I've missed something but is the debate about the lens all about?

Why is it so bad to have a layer of class over the lens?

I've understood some folks would think it would get scratched and smudged with grease (Ronald lovers?), but apparently there is a lens cover as well.

So where is the problem?

The lens plate is scratch-resistant, however, I suppose when you look at it, if you had to make sure the lens glass was smear-free before you took a picture then it doesn't have the point and click speed of say a K810i or a K750i.

No big deal, it makes the cam-side nice and tidy looking.

ok i know this is going to get lost in the flurry of glass over lens complaints, but i'll try my luck anyway.

xumdeo can you kindly take a photo of the video light when it is ON? pleeeeeeeeease? i'm keen to see how the video light works when taking video clips.

thanks much

i think the glass is there for a very good reason. i also think that SE engineers have test this function many many times.

its better to have a protection glass, just beacause you never ever need to think about dirt, dust (or what so ever) flies inside the lens. and if you are a "pig" and eat greasy food (nöf nöf) and dont wash your hands afterwards.....hey, what can i say, use a napkin...

god what i like SE new SensMe™ & Screen splendor.....nice job.

the resolution it's big at this video ...it looks good in fullscreen!

Apparanelty this is only 15fps aswell

I opened it with media info and it turned out that the framerate was variable and the min. was 10fps and max. 27 fps so it seems that its only an issue in the FW and probably will be repaired in final version but still the video seems nice even very nice if we take into consideration the fact that its made by

The glass is for lens cover protection. I don't see problems with that.

Brilliant, thanks Xumdeo.
EDIT: Auto focus is disabled in the prototypes!!!

Wait... Xumdeo made mistake, in this video there is a profile twilight landscape or sth, in which u cant change focus. Same thing on k800i...

Anyway, if auto focus would be disable in the prototypes, how did they made macro shots with flower?

well spotted guys, but it's still on after I've cancelled the Scene mode
