if you don't look at your text message which you recieve it will constantley light up

ive tried the settings and it still keeps doing it btw was beginning to think it's a bug, my other phone done it aswell it's quite annoying,

imagine going to the cinema lol

not sure in e65. but as mentioned, in e50 and e51 its working this way, check the manual, what does it say? or did u have missed calls etc? dont think it would light up without any reason...

I had a unread message it kept lighting up for that maybe?
however the battery was nearley dead anyway so that also might be the problem, if I get it happening tomorrow i'll email nokia about it..

shame cos I wanna see I Am Legend Boxing day and looks like myphone will have to stay at home if it keeps lighting up

maybe it also light up when the battery is almost empty... thats wouldnt be nothing new then

as i recall u have now a generic fw on e65, so just do it via nsu and give it a try

Im still deciding upon doing that Boba,
if the phone gives me anymore probs I will..

sending to Vodafone will prob takes ages I bet,
they don't even have newer firmware for it anyway

Just got a sim free Nokia e51 on friday, so far very pleased with it, replacing my old E50 which has served me well. Only issue I've noticed at the moment is that the hash key doesn't toggle between silent/general profiles. From what I've gathered from other forums this is a known issue, hopefully it will be fixed in future firmware updates.

oh, didnt know that nokia doesnt offer the silent/general etc hash key solution in e51, very sttrange, do loike that feature... also u can put in it the n95 8gb battery for longer standby if i is
